    1. On time with scheduled appointments: 1/10
    -The consumer is responsible for rescheduling their own appointments as representatives and company are non communicative and have a laissez faire attitude. There is no sense of responsibility for customers time when honoring agreed appointment times.
    -Very difficult to get a representative to come out and have a look at the job.
    2. Owner Communication: 1/10
    Owner is acting highly defensive. He does not want to acknowledge or address any problems and takes the route of canceling or just passing on a job when he senses an iota of involvement/interest by the consumer. Owner does not show any interest in the projects that he is given and seems to be allowing representatives run his business.
    3. Is business providing consumers what they claim to provide: 1/10
    Business states that they are stairs contractors, which means that a consumer could hire them to measure, sketch up, and execute the building of a staircase and install it. However, business is very uncomfortable with measuring and committing to projects without a ready plan. Having ready plans for a staircase is by no means a requirement for the consumer. Stair contractors are fully capable of executing all the above-mentioned steps. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of stair contractors to check the work outlined in ready made plans as plans are rarely consistent with reality. Evading all these steps, as in the case of this business, is highly concerning and consistent with bad practice.
