    Hello,

    Tonight I placed an order through the mobile app and picked up through the drive thru. To start, this male employee was extremely rude, passive aggressive and condescending from the very moment we simply asked for lettuce on our mcchicken. That is besides the point, however, left a very bad taste in my mouth to have an employee be so rude for no reason. Upon biting into one of the McDoubles, I felt a very grainy, sandy texture in my mouth and immediately spit it out. Looking inside the burger, I noticed a large mound of black/white substance that looked like sand or dirt! My husband returned to the store with the McDouble to ask what that was as it's inedible, and ask for a refund. The same rude employee from the drive thru claimed to be the manager and kept blaming me. He refused to take any responsibility and said it's not his responsibility what his employees do and what mistakes they make. He said "that's just salt and pepper, we put it on everything". He became argumentative and told my husband to hang up his phone, which he has no authority legally to do. I did not receive an apology or an ounce of compassion. He even went as far as to blame us saying "you placed this order 2 hours ago (which we didn't at the time, it was under 2 hours)" as if everyone can just get in their car, leave their children at this hour of night and waste their gas just to fix an order. He offered no resolution and just wanted to argue. A simple apology and resolution would have sufficed. Yes mistakes may happen, but accountability needs to be in place as well as a standard for treating paying customers with decency and respect. I would like a refund and a further resolution to this issue as this person did not offer me one. I have attached photos of my burger, which shows how completely unacceptable it is to receive food like that. And I also have attached photo of my order #, transaction etc. thank you.
