      The staff if nice. The gym is fine.
      ??THE BILLING IS HORRIBLE!! Near impossible to cancel. Reported me late AFTER I canceled the membership. They reported to the credit reporting agencies all
      while charging my “backup” credit card membership fees. After talking to them on the phone, I went in to the gym and was going to pay the $10.00 to close out the account. I was told by the manager I had to pay an additional 30 days (extortion) fees for the following month in order for my account to be closed.
      Now I am getting emails telling me I am PAST DUE.
      I am spending MY TIME calling credit card companies, filing disputes, writing the three credit reporting agencies to dispute. I am trying to get this resolves with the manager at Club 24. My account is being held hostage and unable to close while they charge my credit card and ding my credit!! This type of business practice should be illegal.

      I have attached documentation which includes an email thread between me and the general manager (who I never heard from until I tried to cancel....). Basically, I signed up in November and was unaware of a no-cancellation/refund policy. I am unable to use a gym currently and based on this experience will NOT use a Club 24 gym ever again. I just would like my money back and feel there are bad (and fraudulent) business practices associated with this facility. I had phoned at least twice with questions and each time there were computer issues which prevented them from either sending my contract or helping with my question - until I asked to cancel my membership!

      Thank you for any help you can offer. I have also filed a complaint with the state Dept of Consumer Protection. If you would like a copy of that document, please let me know
