      Just inappropriate! Strongly recommend NOT to use PowderHorn Agency and the ProGuard program. I have been a customer of the PowderHorn Agency for 24 years. I’ve recently removed an oil tank from my property that was covered by the PowderHorn Agency ProGuard. The thing is I just had to renew (and pay in full) my protection policy 2 weeks prior to the tank removal, if I wanted to maintain coverage. Now that the tank has successfully been removed without any leak and therefore $0.0 cost to PowderHorn, they are keeping my entire yearly payment. They refuse to prorate any of the yearly fee. Basically they charged me an entire year worth of coverage for just 2 weeks of coverage. I feel they totally took advantage of my situation. They were aware (I spoke to Kim twice) that the tank was being removed and that my yearly policy was due for renewal 2 weeks prior to the tank removal. They new what they were doing, they new I had to pay in full for a year for only 2 weeks worth of coverage. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. I have no faith nor trust in the PowderHorn Agency and won’t be using them for any coverage of any kind. I suggest you think about how they inappropriately charged me, before you do business with them. My recommendation is DON’T DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM.
