    I hired *** October 30th of 2021. The communication was terrible. He stated he had the supplies and was ready to start in December and was coming that Monday. He never showed up. This happened several more times before he finally showed up. When he did start working I felt not listened to. I asked for the breezeway to be poured wide enough so the entire column base would be on the concrete. He would not listen and it hangs off the side. It is also crooked even after he took it out and tried to repour it. He tried to take a shortcut by pouring 1 step instead of 2, then used non colored concrete mix (including a bag I had in my garage) to add a 2nd one that does not match. He did not power wash or fully wash off the release so the concrete is significantly darker than expected and all the release has already worn off. He put an expansion joint in the front porch that is not only at an angle, but the pattern is way off. He also left a couple boot prints he said he would buff out. The excuse for this taking several months was some chemical he needed, but it is obvious he tried unsuccessfully to sand it. He left a wave in what he used to frame the walkway so it is not a smooth curve. The center of my breezeway has almost no pattern in it. My columns are crooked even after he removed and repoured the bases. He does not know how to stamp the bases and waited till well after he was paid to even look for the materials to do so. I ended up purchasing my own materials to complete that, for which he said he would partially refund.
