I went into the dealership to trade in my car. I got a certain price online and the first time I went into the office to meet with the lady she gave me a price that I was comfortable with hat wouldn’t be too far off from the car payment that I was already paying when I went to go pick up the car. After going in the second time for paperwork, The price was doubled, but being that I went alone, I was pressured and I was uncomfortable and still went ahead with the entire process. After having the car for some months and noticing that I was taking advantage of, I went back to the dealership and the guy that sold me the car no longer worked there, but they were able to give me a check of about $3000 for things that I was pressured and so adding onto the car I was given a pretty bad interest rate at the dealer by the same man that sold me the car and I just feel like I’ve been taking advantage of the price that I was quoted and the price that I’m paying now is completely different and overwhelming and I can no longer afford to pay the car it’s in The process of getting reloaded and I just feel like that’s not my fault and I would really like for something to be done I was taking advantage of at this dealership. I went alone as a young woman, and they saw that and took an opportunity. I feel like something went wrong and they miscalculated, but I should not be paying as much as I am for this car.

    T whom it may concern,

On *** *****'s initial visit she was presented a sale price  and well as a trade value for her vehicle. The selling price and trade value were consistent at time of delivery. Neither of those values were changed.  The only items that were added were the additional items that she chose to purchase. Please find attached document items selected to purchase as well as item declined.

At no time was *** ***** pressured to take delivery of the vehicle. There was a six day period between her initial presentation and deposit to purchase and her actually taking delivery of the vehicle. In regards to the interest rate on the loan many factors such as finance source, personal credit score and history as well as term and equity level.

    Respectfully,

    *** ******

I am rejecting this response because: this is not what happened, I’m almost positive that the price of my old car was added on to the new Acura some way some how. Something sneaky went on and i was pressured by the sales man into getting the car even after verbally expressing that that’s not the price i was quoted online or in the show room by the woman who showed me the car and allowed me to test drive it. I was taken advantage of. Many things went on under my nose that i wasn’t aware about and I’m not satisfied with the effort you’re putting in to defend me. I need a new rate and a lower car note. It’s not fair

    Sincerely,

    *** *****,

The selling price you were quoted which is also reflected on your purchase order was $38795. You were also given a $18000 trade in allowance for your 2020 ****** ***** to which you had a loan payoff of $17727.46 giving you a equity amount of $272.54.

The previous document that reflected the additional add on purchases that you selected, plus the sales tax, dealer conveyance fee, and registration charges added to the selling price totaled $46,042.74. That number less the equity of $272.54 from your trade brings the finance amount to $45770.20. These figures are all consistent with all of the documents. Unfortunately, I cannot attach the documents since they also contain your personal information. If you would like someone to review the documents so that you may have a better understanding and clarification, we would be more than happy to do so.

    Respectfully,

I am rejecting this response because: i still have concerns about certain things. When i went to the dealer, the woman who took me on a test drive assured me that i wouldn’t be paying anymore that $700 on my car note which i was ok with being that my previous one was in the $400 range. My interest rate given to me at the dealer is almost at 15%

    Sincerely,

As we noted in our initial response the monthly payment and or interest rate is affected by the initial cost of the vehicle, additional items purchased, sales tax, personal credit score, term and any other fees associated with the purchase.
