    I sell furniture on ***** My buyer purchased (essentially a priceless) antique heirloom table. I paid the UPS store of ******* ** to package the table, which was done by their manager, and I purchased full insurance on the table. The table arrived to my buyer absolutely destroyed, in a cardboard box with one thin single layer or bubble wrap around the whole thing, no extra padding or protection around the table legs or anywhere else. Multiple legs were broken off at the time of delivery. The buyer said absolute negligence occurred in the packing/ handling of this table and was clearly evident through her photos she sent me (even the outside of the box was smashed up before she opened it). I have been seeking a full refund from UPS. UPS of ********* phone lines were down for months so I could never get through to them and always had to go in person to demand a refund for my buyer. It has been an arduous process talking to all of their employees, trying to get the manager to file the case (even though a full refund is guaranteed if item arrives broken and was packaged by the store), and calling their claims/ insurance department, trying to file complaints. I have been given countless false promises from their manager that my customer’s refund check would be issued months ago, with “something always coming up” and delaying the process. This process began in January. It is now July and we are still waiting on a $600 refund.
