    I got a email that I thought was from my electric company with discounts on thermostats to help save money so I entered a order with a credit card then I got a notification from the credit card company that a charge was coming from ********* Inc. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge and was told that ********* purchased a gift card with my credit card so how can this be legit.

    *** ****** ordered a thermostat through a promotion we ran with his utility on October 9th, 2023.  His order was shipped via **** on October 17th, 2023 and delivered on October 23rd, 2023.  The charge he received was for a thermostat and not a gift card.  Tracking information for the order can be found below.

    ***** is sending customers these fantastic deals on a portable air-cleaning machine. They have TECHNIART distributing these air purifier machines. The ****x, A23 True HEPA Filter Air Purifier. On February 16, 2023, I placed an order, #****************** I received my credit card bill with a charge for the order on 2/26/2023, indicating that TECHNIART Inc. had charged my credit card $5.51. I had to contact them because I never received the product or any confirmation they received the order and started the distribution process. They gave me a *** tracking number which I loaded into the *** phone APP. I never received the product nor an update on the status from TECHNIART. On 3/16/2023, I *** tracked the number which claimed the item was left on my doorstep on Feb 25, 2023. There was never any notification by TECHNIART or *** of that product's updated tracking information or delivery notification. When you order a product, you should not have to call about that product; a tracking email notification should come to the person ordering the product once it is paid for. I do not believe TECHNIART is acting in good faith in the distribution of these air fresheners. This method of charging customers' credit cards and not delivering the products is inappropriate. Requiring a person to file a police report over a six-dollar item is outrageous when they have not provided a shred of proof that they sent the product. It is easy to take advantage of customers because those $5.00 dollar amounts add up. The company's conduct is inconsistent with the operation of an order-distribution business.

    Good afternoon, 

    I've reviewed Ms. ******** complaint.  I've attached copies of the correspondence she received with tracking information for the package on February 24th, and UPS' confirmation of delivery on February 25th.  Ms. ****** called in and reported that she had not received the item.  Tracking information was again provided to her via email on March 3rd.  She was told that in the event she had not received the package, we would kindly request that she file a police report for a stolen item.  Although Ms. ****** states that the cost to her was $5.51, this offer was heavily subsidized by her utility company with an energy efficiency incentive.  The retail value of the air purifier is $119.99 with additional shipping costs for the item.  Once we have record of a police report being filed, we would be happy to reship this order as a courtesy, as previously stated.  We have attempted to contact Ms. ****** by the phone to help resolve this issue, but have yet to speak with her directly.  We will attempt to contact her again to resolve this issue favorably.
