Received a defective Huntsville Bed. The female hardware of footboard is defective and the installer forced a 4" screw using plier and stripped the head and thread. The local Customer Service in Pomona refused to reorder a new footboard and wants to replace only the female hardware. It's impossible to replace the female hardware without proper tool and equipment in my house. I presented photos and consulted expert opinions but Customer Service refused to listen.
The issue was raised on August 20. I can't use the bed for over a month and no progress has been made on Customer Service. I emailed or called every week and the last status from a week ago is female hardware is being ordered.Business Response

While we certainly appreciate Mr. ****** purchase and his consultation with experts for their opinion, with all due respect, none of the experts are familiar with Ethan Allen products. Our technician can replace the hardware with the necessary parts, which Mr. **** agreed to in the Terms and Conditions that he signed when he placed the order. Those Terms and Conditions state that, "Ethan Allen reserves the right, at it's sole discretion, to repair...merchandise." Again, these Terms and Conditions were signed and agreed to by Mr. ****. When the necessary parts arrive, we will have the technician take care of the issue.

The technician arrived today after waiting since August 20th, over 2 months to order parts and service the request, and couldn't fix the problem. I trust your judgement despite the fact I presented the issue with photos and detailed explanation as to why the footboard needs to be replaced not the hardware. The local customer service center refused to listen. The technician confirmed the footboard needs to be replaced said it's not possible to order just the footboard, but the entire bed. The bed still can't be used for over 2 months and I paid over $2K. Everybody's time and effort wasted.Business Response

We ordered a chair on Jan 1, 2022

For the amount of $1,070.30 for a custom chair, that took several weeks to arrive.
A few weeks after delivery, a part of the fabric came unstitched on one arm near the piping so you can see the piping. It's not a large flaw but it's a flaw and is brand new. We have purchased several pieces of Ethan Allen furniture. The quality is high and we've never had an issue...until now.
They told us to send a swatch of the fabric so they could match it. This was a long process and a bit of a pain. They sent directions on how to get a fabric swatch. We sent back the swatch on April 8. I sent photos of the damage to Raquel. We were supposed to hear back from her. I didn't get a response. I called and was told the warehouse would contact us. They didn't. I then called and spoke to Joanne, same thing.
My husband spoke to Ashley at 1:23 PM on August 25 2022. She doesn't really have an update on things. The service manager Emily should reach out to us. They acknowledged that you did talk to Joanne. 24-48 business hours one of them will call you back. Didn't happen.
It's now September and I'm getting no response or action. We're ready to talk to our credit card company. 4 months and still no resolution. We have to keep bugging them to no avail. If you're not going to fix it or follow up as promised, come get the chair and deliver a new one,Business Response

Purchased 10/29/21. Bedroom dresser and 2 night stands. Items not as promised and delivery was refused. . Still waiting for my furniture to be fixed and delivered 9 months later. .Business Response

Good Afternoon,
Ms. ****** ordered 2 Custom Canton Oak open Night Tables and a Custom Canton Oak Double Dresser on 10/26/21. There was a delay on fulfilling the order due to supply chain issues caused by the pandemic. The completed order was delivered to Ms. ****** on May 20, 2022. The client refused delivery because she wanted the pieces darker in color than she received. Ethan Allen determined the color of the product she received was the color she ordered, however, to provide the client with the service she expected and deserves from Ethan Allen we agreed to refinish each piece to the darker color as she requested. In June, we had a night table transferred to the design center for the client to review and to establish her expectations. The Night table was sent back to the service center with a color sample the client agreed upon. The refinishing process, which is complicated and time consuming, is being completed by our talented craftsmen this week and will be available for redelivery. We are also offering Ms. ****** an additional discount of $350.00 for her inconvenience.

I am rejecting this response because:Pam was not accurate when she stated the stain color was what I picked out. After going to the showroom it was evident that the sample showed a darker finish. We did come to an agreement with payment. Waiting for delivery on Aug 5th , 9 months after the order was placed. The order was promised March 20. First delivery was made 2 months later.

Ms. ****** did receive the correct pieces and in the
finish number she ordered, however the variation in color of the pieces she
received was lighter than the sample she saw and purchased from. We understood
completely that the discrepancy was not acceptable to Mr. ****** and therefore
offered to refinish the pieces for her. We were happy to offer Mr. ****** a
compensation for the delay and the inconvenience it caused and look forward to
having Ms. ****** receive her delivery on August 5th. We are confident that she
will have years of enjoyment from her beautiful new dresser and night tables. Our goal is to provide excellent service to all

Have spent thousands of dollars at Ethan Allen. Huge Sectional. Dining room table. Patio furniture. Dressers. Child furniture. Breakfast table and chairs, etc. Never had an issue but with the Dining room table. Side wall of 3k solid wood table began peeling off and chipping off. This damage was reported to Patt at the local store, who scheduled it to be repaired in December 2021/January 2022. They came and got the table, took a few days and returned it to us. However, within same day of getting table back for "repair" it had new dents and scratches on the top of the table. This was communicated to Patt and nothing was ever done to remediate the situation. She said she would replace it, but that she didn't have the authority as it was an online purchase and not from their store. I followed up with her over the Summer to discuss options as the table continued to deteriorate. I created a warranty claim for the damages. Patt said that they might consider replacing with a different table, so I provided one that we'd like instead as the quality of this piece is questionable. Was told I would receive a call-back on the status in a few days. Never received a call. I called on 7/20/22 and was told "Case is closed, not a warranty issue." Wait a minute? Ethan Allen took the table to repair obviously faulty construction and (during that process) damaged it! So that's not a warranty issue? No more details. Beware of this company. We were lied to completely when we were told our table would be - at a minimum exchanged - at best replaced with a new one.Business Response
