      DO NOT but the furniture insurance plan they recommended, it basically exclude 99% type of damage and claim "The damage you reported is not covered by your protection plan. Please refer to the section of your plan titled "What is Covered." In some protection plans, this can be found in section 6."

      we have purchased Ethan Allen Furniture for over 25 years. we initially dealt with the store in ******** *** ******* they sadly closed. We started buying from the ******* store last year. we ordered furniture for our family room. A leather sectional, with large leather ottoman, side tables and a large entertainment unit. it took a lot longer to get then we expected. The sectional was delivered damaged. since it took so long to get it and the damage was in the back where it couldn't be seen, we excepted delivery with intent to repair. ethan Allen offered no compensation, the sectional itself was over $15,000. When the entertainment unit finally came in, it was damaged also. They told us they would repair it, but we chose not to except it. It was in the front and the repair would have been seen. We were taken back that they would even suggest that we take it. Again, offering no compensation for the damage or delay. We received a new unit a couple weeks later, after Christmas. We are moving,so we had to order a coffee table that matched our existing side tables. We ran into a problem with the measurements, so we could no longer use the coffee table. We gave them a $500 deposit. We ordered it over the phone. We didn't realize that it was a custom piece, stupid maybe, but it a square black table, didn't think it was custom. I know this is long winded, but here is my problem, we have spent a small fortune with Ethan Allen. We were not asking for a refund, maybe a modified store credit. Well you would have thought we were asking for their firstborn child. All they had to say was "I'm a little confused, you signed the contract ". Yes we did sign a contract, but their customer service on every level is obnoxious. We personally will never buy another piece of furniture from them. I will also add, that the quality of furniture is not what it used to be. If I could leave negative stars , I would

      NEGATIVE 5 STARS ****** My experience with Ethan Allen has been a NIGHTMARE! I purchased $15,000 worth of garbage from this company. Upon receiving my sectional sofa, swivel chair and two ottomans, I contacted them as instructed per the purchase agreement to report multiple manufacturer defects and design flaws. 4 months later, and after dozens of unanswered messages and unreturned calls from my salesperson and apparent manager, Stephanie C., I resort to this review. Regarding the sofa, I ordered and paid extra for firm cushions. I received soft, lumpy and horribly dimpled cushions. 3 of them are misshapen and too small for the frame. 1 cushion has damage. Two areas of the frame are lacking support under the cushions and you fall right into a hole! This sofa already looks so old and worn.
      The chair did come with a firm cushion, but doesn't fit properly into the chair. There is a big gap between the back of the cushion and the chair. EVERY time you stand up from the chair, the cushion pops up out of place and has to be shoved back in.
      One of the two ottomans came with a cut in the fabric. Over the years, I have purchased much less expensive furniture that is far superior to what I have received from Ethan Allen. As a side note, I originally called the Sandy store to ask some questions about the performance fabric as I was going to order online. Stephanie BEGGED me to please come into the store instead, as she could help me make better selections as she said she was a design specialist. She recommended certain colors and fabrics that she said would work well together. They do not. This entire compilation is a big eyesore. I realize now, that she had no concern in helping me, but only to pad her pocket with commission.
      I wish that I would have seen the reviews on ***** Please take the time to read through those before making a purchase.
      I hope my review serves to save many folks the grief and buyers remorse that I am experiencing, not to mention a whole lot of money.

      Our service from Ethan Allen has been appalling regarding purchasing new cushions for our sofa. We first ordered down filled - a big mistake as they were uncomfortable AND feathers are always coming out. So we decided to pay an additional $1000+ to get firmer cushions. The order was placed May 21, 2022. We were told the delivery would be in 6-8 weeks. It's now Oct 26th - 22 weeks and we still don't have our cushions. I've written to our contact, Robert Nelson, to get updates and they are vague or misleading. I keep expecting that he would reach out with an update but that hasn't happened. On Oct 4 he indicated, after my inquiry, that the pieces had been made and they would be transferred to "our local distribution center." That's the last we have heard a word. I have said that we'd like to cancel the order but that doesn't seem to be possible. While the delay seems inexcusable, it's made worse by the fact that there has been no follow up at all except for when I inquire. In the past we had a fairly good experience with Ethan Allen but I would never shop with them again particularly because of the subpar customer service. In addition to all written above, WE PAID IN FULL ON MAY 21! There's no excuse for replacement cushions to take longer to make/deliver than the sofa itself!

      We purchased a very high end Executive Chair... Black Leather-Embossed Croc approximately 5 years ago for home office. One of the casters has come off the chair , no longer under warranty & unable to be replaced ( Ethan Allen discontinued ) or fixed. The leather is in perfect condition, the chair unusable.

      I have an ongoing, challenging problem with furniture I purchased but have not received from the Ethan Allen ******* ****** which is now the ****** ***** ****** I purchased a dining table on 10/19/21 that was delivered 11/17/21. I noted on the delivery that the leaf was missing and spoke to my Salesperson who emailed that it must be in the store and they would look for it. After many responses that they we’re still looking for it, on 3/5/22 (almost 5 months later) they emailed that it was not found and they submitted an order for the leaf to the Operations department (***********. I also purchased dining Chairs in the store and placed an order for the 4th on 12/09/21 ************. I was told the table leaf and the single dining chair would be delivered in May. My husband and I have each called, emailed and visited the store to try to get status on our furniture and are extremely frustrated by the lack of response from our salesperson and the store manager. It is now late August, 10 months since I purchased the table and 8 months since I purchased the dining chair. I still have no status on the leaf after again repeatedly calling the Manager and the Salesperson. I heard today that they found the chair but it has no seat. The seat would have to be reordered and they have no estimate on when I would get the chair. My husband and I love EthanAllen furniture and have received excellent service in other Ethan Allen stores. In April we purchased an entire Kingston master bedroom set for another house in ******* and received all the furniture on time in 4 months. At this point, we want to return the dining table/ chair parts for a full refund. We need a useable dining solution now.

      WOW! Reading the complaint responses from Ethan Allen is so incredibly disappointing. I cannot believe they treat their customers like this. Their responses are abhorrent. Whoever is answering their BBB complaints needs to be fired. My entire home is furnished with Ethan Allen furniture. Every single room is full of Ethan Allen furniture, including light fixtures and chandeliers. The only reason I came here was to see if Ethan Allen had recent complaints on the quality of their furniture because I recently visited the ******* ** location and was blown away by the lack of quality of their furniture compared to when i purchased mine over 10 years ago. Ethan Allen furniture has definitely gone down hill. Even so, I did find one sofa that I liked but when the sales lady stated that the sofa was not 8 way hand tied, I decided to check online reviews before making a $8,000 purchase. Glad I didn't purchase that day however the sales lady was very honest and great to work with. I cannot support a company that no longer stands behind their product and more importantly, treats their customers with such indignation.
