      For about 8 years we have been using the local Linde Gas business to supply us with our LP tanks for our fork trucks. We use approximately 12-13 tanks every 6 weeks. Once checking into the arrangement between our companies after our warehouse manager left I noticed we were being charges for 30 tank rental fees and a storage cage. We only have 13 total tanks from and we have our own storage cage so I thought it was just a clerical error. After speaking with the local Manager of Linde he informed me that there is a clause at the bottom of the delivery notice that if we don't mention a discrepancy on 10 days then the delivery is final and we are responsible. I could understand if it were a smaller issue but Linde has been overcharging us for 8 years by more than double what we actually received even though our deliveries are only for 10 tanks. Linde is standing behind their approach even though they have been basically stealing from us for so long and have no interest in writing this off based on the gains they have already received. We can not work with a company that willfully chooses to do business in this fashion so we have cancelled our agreement with them and moved to another supplier for 1/2 the price of each tank and they only want to charge us for what we actually use from them. Linde is now trying to collect over $10,000 from us based on fees from tanks we never received or used. Buyers beware when dealing with this outfit.
