    Nejame and Sons took our filter to be cleaned and repaired at the end of the 2023 season after closing our pool. They called and said it could not be repaired and that we would need a new filter. They gave a quote for a new filter. I researched the cost of the filter with other local businesses. I called them back and told them that local competitors charged $1400 less. Their quote was twice as much. I believe in customer loyalty and since we have been with them for 8 years, I tried several times to have them decrease the up charge before buying the filter from their competitor. Each time they said they couldn't lower it. In August 2024, I received a bill from them that charged me for the broken filter cleaning. The bill said "No Charge If Customer" and since we are a customer and have them close our pool, I did not pay the bill. Our pool was scheduled to be closed tomorrow with them and they called today saying we owed money for the cleaning of the filter and needed to pay it before they close the pool. I explained that our bill said we did not need to pay it if we were a customer. They had to research this. They called back and said what they really meant was if we bought a filter from them they would not charge us for the cleaning. I truly don't believe they actually cleaned the filter and now they are trying to charge additional money for a service they did not perform. This doesn't seem like a proper way to treat a customer that has spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them.

    To whom it may concern, since this customer review we have been in contact with the client to clear up what we believe to be a misunderstanding. After our explanation to them they kept their service appointment to winterize their pool today. We have completed this service.
