  I ordered a qty of 25 canvas sheets from these folks on 2/7/2023 (receipt uploaded) for $54.08. I let them know how badly I needed this item for my business, then all of a sudden I got a follow up email that the price magically changed and they were now trying to charge me DOUBLE, $105 in all. For 25 small sheets of canvas. This price is not reasonable, or fair, for items of this kind or quantity. Of course, I req**sted a refund, which I received. Also, the lady that contacted me was emailing from another employee's email address, which I though was strange in itself. This is FALSE ADVERTISING and PRICE GOUGING at its finest. Businesses like this should not be allowed to operate. After looking at some of the reviews, I am not the only one who's had a bad experience with them. I am extremely irritated by this transaction.

  Since purchasing Printing Supplies Direct in July 2021, we have focused on providing our customers with a positive experience.  We apologize that we fell short in meeting those goals with your order.
  
  
  Shannan is my Manager, we both receive all emails coming into the business to ensure nothing gets missed.  
  With your order, we hadn't sold the particular product you ordered in over a year.  As soon as your order came over, Shannan reached out to two vendors that we can source this product from.  Only one Vendor got back to her yesterday.  Once they provided her with a new cost, she let you know right away of the price increase, and offered you the option to have your order refunded in full, which we promptly did at your req**st.
  
  
  We offer approximately 2600 products from over 20 vendors and 2021/2022 was filled with multiple price increases, discontin**d products, and vendors shutting their doors after multiple years in business.  I think you have experienced some of this in trying to source this paper with PPD discontining their line, and the trouble you ran into with *******.  While we tried our best to keep up with all the changes in our industry, in your particular case, we fell short, and do apologize.  Unfortunately our vendor didn't notify us of the price increase until we contacted them yesterday to get availability for your order.  I assure you **** that we had no intention of price gouging, once we cover shipping costs and our overhead, we make a very modest margin.
