    I signed a contract to adopt a 5 month old kitten on June 17 from Chaos Kitten Club for $350 and was in contact with the owner of the business, Ashely S****. The contract allows 7 days to return the kitten if there are any issues. I got the kitten from the foster on June 19th. It was listed as good with other cats but was not and I didn't feel I could safely integrate it with my current cat. I emailed Ashley to return the kitten on day 6, time stamped June 25th. She asked me to keep him longer while she looked for a foster to take him in. She texted more than a day later to put me in contact with a foster late on day 7. We arranged drop off for the following day since it was late and the drive would be 3 hours. I was aware that this would put the return on day 8 but since she had asked for more time to prepare, I acted in good faith. I did confirm with her multiple times though that, yes, I would still get a full refund and made sure to get it in writing. I dropped the kitten off on June 27th and confirmed again that I would get a full refund. And she did confirm. I have not gotten a refund and my texts and emails have been ignored. I have tried remediation with her state's consumer advocacy group but her official reply is that although she promised a refund, she had fed me a line to get the kitten back. She had no intentions of issuing a refund because I broke contract. I realized she had asked me to hold onto the kitten longer to delay his return past the contract time limit and had lied in order to get me to return the kitten. Throughout our communications I was courteous, and genuinely trying to make the right decisions for the kitten's safety. I am attaching the relevant messages with timestamps, including her official reply to the ******** ******** ***** ** *********** where she admitted that: 1) she had lied to get the kitten back, 2) disregarded her involvement in HER ASKING FOR MORE TIME to prepare for its return. Beware of this rescue. They are dishonest.

    I adopted a kitten from Chaos Kitten Club in May of 2024. In a contract signed by myself and the company, I was promised a $100 deposit back of the $350 I paid for her once I got the kitten spayed. I got her spayed at my vet of choice in late August and contacted Chaos Kitten Club on ******** in early September to see how I would go about getting my deposit refunded. I was told to send the invoice to them and I would be refunded by my original form of payment. The message telling me that is the only communication I have received since. Chaos Kitten Club removed me from their ******** page, and also has opened and not responded to any of my messages trying to resolve this issue, nor have I received my deposit back.
    I also would like to add that I received my kitten in pretty rough condition. She was very skinny, smelled like feces, and had a scratch on her eyelid that has now resulted in a scar that limits how her eye moves and closes. The rescue did not make me aware of the injury prior, and none of the 2 pictures that we were shown showed her eye close enough to discern the scar.

    I adopted 2 kittens through Chaos Kitten Club on 12/29/23. The owner informed me via text that a $100 deposit was required in addition to the $400 adoption fee and the deposit would be returned upon the spay/neuter of the cats. I have provided documentation of the spay/neuters being complete and the owner acknowledged receipt however has yet to return my deposit and is no longer responding to me at all via text or email.
