  I had my car in to have the timing belt replaced. I picked up my car and found that East Granby Motors changed the oil without my consent. I had a noise in the car since the timing belt replacement. I also checked the oil after 2300 miles and found it extremely low. So I decided to change it myself since I have been working on cars since the 70's. The mechanic tightened the drain plug so tight that the threads on the oil pan were stripped out. I had the car tower to the garage after speaking to Mike M***** the owner. They repaired that at no charge. I went to pick up my car and Mike said he would back it out of the garage for me. I waited, he came out, got into another car, and he left the premises. After 10-15 minutes of waiting, the car was backed out. I noticed the radio needed to be reset, and the clock needed to be set. The next day I needed to jump my car twice. The battery would not hold a charge. I called Mike M*****, and no apology, just excuses, actually saying it was probably the battery was weak. It was 2 1/2 yrs old. I bought a new battery and installed it myself. Mike M***** later called and put the blame on me for the stripped threads. Saying they would have done something differently to remove the plug. Again, never an apology about the two problems they caused. About the noise, I don't trust East Granby Motors to rectify the situation. I terrible experience, a very disappointed customer.

  Had my car for 2 months , supposedly waiting for a transmission, well took the car back and now broken door Handle , dead battery ( although he said he took it for a spin ) and a family of mice , nesting and ******** in the car . So disappointed with the lack of respect . Not to mention the money it cost to take taxi to work ect. So bottom line it cost me money for them to just to park my car and ignore .
