    I pur****ed a roundtrip ticket, Dec. 21 -Dec. 28, 2024 from ********** ** to *** because i have to drive 57 miles to the ********** ******* I leave my vehicle there. On return to ****. the 28th.our trip was delayed 4 times. when the planes came in to take passengers to the destinations, all the flights went out except ****** *** to ********** and ** **** *****. we were stranded there from 4 pm until 11:45 pm nothing said or any correspondence. we all went home because the phone to customer service wait time was over 2-hours. we were told by email we would go out Sunday at 7:30 am. flight was cancelled again for the entire day the 29th. 11:30 pm the 29th i got a phone call back and scheduled for Dec. 31 at 3:55. i was at airport as well as others 21/2 hours early the airport was lined up outside. took 1&1/2 hour to get almost to *** check point. we asked if they would take the people that airline was ready they said nobody was being bumped up even though we were there early. we got to the gate after people in line let us go ahead of them at 3:45 exactly they closed the doors in our face. they gave me credit after i called again but refused to re-imburse me for the extra parking fee i will have to pay in ********** of over $100.00 and I had to try and book my own flight which leaves Jan. 2, 2025 at a different airport. the only flight they had available was Jan. 6, which i would have missed my work. also had to schedule an uber for $150.00 to take me to the airport because everyone had gone back to work and i needed to get back home. my parking fee as fo today is over4300.00. ALL THEY COULD SAY WAS I am sorry

    On 12/26/24 my husband and I attempted to start a flight out of Tweed New Haven airport via ***** Airlines (cost$743.96). We arrived almost three hours early for our flight and due to a TSA security machine being down, and the airport being backed up, my husband and I as well as numerous others including babies, elderly, and animals, were forced to wait outside the airport building in a line that wrapped around the airport for 30-45 minutes. By the time my husband and I made it inside we heard employees saying on walkies that the line was past gate 7 outside . We weren’t told until we made it inside that the holdup was due to a TSA machine malfunction and employees doing pat downs by hand. We were told all flights knew of the issue and that we were waiting, and most flights delayed. We waited in line for over another hour before we made it to the line to have our boarding pass scanned. While we waited on THIS line for another 30 minutes a mother had to leave line to change her baby’s diaper while her husband waited and still got yelled at by employees when she returned to her spot for “cutting” the line. We eventually made it through TSA just to be told we missed the flight by minutes and our luggage was on the flight without us. We were turned around and told we “should have arrived earlier” and we could either rebook or go home. There were no more flights to ****** ***** or anywhere within reasonable driving distance and ***** airlines refused to refund the flight cost or directly send us our luggage (we’re over an hour drive from Tweed) I am HORRIFIED that people including babies in strollers and the elderly were forced to wait outside in 30 degree weather as well as animals including those clearly marked as service animals. I’m sad for the mother who was yelled at for taking care of her baby’s needs. And I am angry that myself and others were told it was OUR faults for missing a flight when we missed it due to poor communication and management.
