They have the worst customer service and no show multiple appointments! And not even a courtesy phone call when no showing.

We purchased LG mini split air conditioning units several years ago. With that we also purchased an insurance and service maintenance plan. They would come about 2 to 3 times a year and clean the filter and check a couple things on each unit to make sure there weren’t any issues (cleaning the filter is very simple and I had already been doing it myself because they didn’t come out enough in my opinion). They would also check the outside compressor portion/units that provide the heating and cooling to the 6 units we have. I didn’t really have a problem with any of this until I figured out that they weren’t actually providing much preventative maintenance at all, and noticed that a couple units were spitting out black stuff every now and again. We called to have them come check it and to our surprise, this particular service isn’t cover in the insurance and maintenance plan. $340 extra per unit to clean them out.
This year after another price hike, they come out and are just cleaning the filters (which the took apart my water hose set up and did not put it back the way that it was) they are not checking for any other issues and went right out back to the outside units and checked it with a meter and was ready to leave until I asked if they were going to check other things that they had previously checked. The service guy says “no, we don’t do that”. I say “how do you determine if there are possibly any other problems”? He replies “you call us if there are problems”, I reply, “thats not preventative maintenance, you saying we should wait until it breaks down before calling. That’s no good” he replies that’s all we can do. I’m just a service guy I wouldn’t be able to answering anything else “.
So I call the main office explain what happened and asked to talk to a manager. The manager was rude, disrespectful, sounded angry and at one point says “you don’t have to have the service contract! I’ll give you your money back, your choice” I took that offer. They are terrible!
