I was promised to be let back into the auction verbally if I paid the amount owed to Southern Auto Auction ($2100.) This was the difference in the amount I mistakenly bid on the vehicle, to the amount that it sold for a few weeks after I had refused to pay for a vehicle due to a mistake in the bidding in an online auction portal. Prior to this problem escalating, I offered video footage showing that the car I was bidding on was clearly the vehicle on the screen. And the intended vehicle that I was bidding on was the ONLY vehicle on my watch list for this auction. They said my footage didn't matter. I was also told by a woman in upper management, " That everything will be fine, don't worry." Instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt, they filed an insurance claim to try, and get me to pay for the vehicle. This claim is handled by a company called **** ***. Who has since blocked my auction access nationally. Meaning, I cannot go to any auctions. When I called and told them it was either my mistake or a mistake on the auction portal. And could I be let back in the auction? Since I was banned! I was told by the woman in upper management, " Are you feeling lucky?" Never getting a direct answer. I finally paid the $2100 on July 3rd after being promised to be let back into SAA, as well as regain my auction access nationally.. Today is 7-15-2024, and I still cannot attend a single auction in the country due to this occurrence. Including SAA. As I was told that my business is no longer allowed at SAA. Even after paying, and apologizing for making a mistake. Even if an apology was not warranted. I feel like I have been strong-armed by a company that claims to value their customers; meanwhile I cannot conduct business since my auction access is suspended indefinitely.

As a threshold matter, this is not a consumer complaint, this is a business to business complaint. The complainant is not the business owner and we are not aware of his status and or relationship with the business.  Until such time that we are sure of the managing member's invovlement in this, we are unable to respond to complaints that we are suspect of the origination.

I never received a notification regarding this matter until now.

The business *** **** **** *** is its own entity. As it’s an LLC. I’m submitting the complaint on behalf of the business.

I’ve attached a copy of the official auction access portal for the business. Clearly shows myself ******* ******* as being an owner, along with ***** ****. Both of us in which are the founders of *** **** **** ***.

You accepted the $2100 from me, on behalf of *** **** **** ***. Therefore your response shows less than adequate validity in response to my complaint.

I still look to seek damages that SAA has caused in relation to my original complaint with the BBB.

My car was repossessed and I paid my amount to my lender to redeem my car. Before repossession 9/26/23 my car was running fine, now the day of redemption 10/19, my car is unable to start with my keys . There were notes in the system to not cut my keys because the customer was redeeming car, I spoke to Elaine at SAA and she said my car was never touched and remained how it was received however that was a lie from 10/19-11/6 my car is still not running and the problem is still not fixed ! I have lost my job because I’m unable to get to work and the SAA is not allowing me to know where my car is and i believe it is not be worked on since being at the auction. I need my car

I am rejecting this response because:

I had requested paperwork in regards to my vehicle  and was told I would be emailed once they received the bill from Dealership who worked on my car but I have not received it yet

    Sincerely,
