i had a ***** membership with this company where they would deduct a monthly fee for services every 3 months. there was a period when they switched over their systems and it would delete my credit card info, so i would have to go in and hand them my card for payment which they had to do manually. all of my payments are reflected on my bank statement. a couple of months ago, i kept calling to make my regular appointments but their systems were always down, and id get promised a call back after resolve. it went like this for a couple of weeks until i stopped going and called them to cancel membership. payments stopped until i received a phone call months later that owed over $500.00 , then a few weeks later, a letter.. every service i received from them was paid . i dont know how they came up with a total of $539.19 for services in September of 2024 when its almost been a year since ive been seen by them . They also couldnt explain it over the phone

      Business Response

      Hello,

This client is in collections. She was made aware we had missed payments and did not pay. Also she did not have to come in to make the payments, it could have been done over the phone. Our systems also were never down at all even though she states we were down for a couple of weeks. Here are some notes from her chart.

      1) COLLECTIONS: Client owes Nov 169, January 169 and February 169 (169 x 3 plus tax)

      2) We reached out to client several times. Sent another note today that we need her missing payments. Missing November 2023, January2024 and February2024 payments (3 x 169 plus tax)

      3) Client came in today and wanted to book and appointment but she owes money and said that she will pay cash and thinks her payments did go through and she would send over screenshots. It looks like Nov payment for prior Aug correction never went through and then she got another correction in Nov and the Dec payment went through but not the Jan so currently we need Nov, Jan and Feb payments before she can come back in for her Feb correction. Weaved about missing Jan/ Feb payments

Why was this closed? The company has not provided proof that I owe them anything. I believe this to be fraud .  Why was this closed out?
