Wedding 10.19. There was 0 integrity as the event unfolded that we planned for 7-8 months mostly via email due to having busy work schedules and the flexibility from the planner was not there. The communication from the start was poor. We were told at one point, already under contract: “we don’t do weddings this size.” We had about 30 people so it was a smaller wedding. Also finding out the day of our event, Caitlin had put in her week notice to resign! We were told ***** ****** hosts 1 event a day, this was not the case either. Nothing was setup or planned accordingly with another event still setup when we arrived to get ready! Caitlin was completely unprepared. She assured us it would be already setup a day prior, the rest of the family arrived around 2:15pm to get ready with, after wading through the large dinner party (that was not ours) outside as our guests were short to arrive. Caitlin busy with the large party outside that was not ours and was not directing any of our party and guests upon arriving. Not one of our guests arriving received any refreshments. There was no ushering people to where they were suppose to go, family had to do so. Guests were to come in and sign books, drop off gifts, receive refreshments that they never got before the ceremony. As that was included in our contract, did not happen! Caitlin the assistant/planner, that we paid good money for, was with a different party! As we were getting ready, in the hallway, they are checking in an entire rehearsal dinner of 40-50 people. None of this went unnoticed by guests, and by our vendors that I saw paying while waiting for Caitlin! When you have vendors asking you where the coordinator/planner is and why they are absent that’s not a good representation. We had the venue under contract until 9:30pm and they began to wheel in more tables and break down what we had at 8:30pm to setup for another party. I feel bamboozled for what we paid and the treatment. SacredHeart needs to know about this!

Sacred Heart is claiming I owe the University for classes that I withdrew from, the university is stating I withdrew too late. This occurred back in 2013/2014, I withdrew from my courses during the Spring semester due to time restraints from commuting to class from my job at the time. All funding was returned to the university, financial aid, etc. The university claimed since I withdrew too late they could not recoup my spot for those courses. However, I returned all funding to the university. I now cannot request my transcript to continue courses to obtain my Bachelor's Degree because of an hold on my account. Sad such a big university is playing hard ball when they make a profile every year from their enrollment. Throughout my time at the school I did not have any guidance from anyone outside of my administrators. I have on numerous occasions tried getting this resolve via the Attorney General's website without any resolution. I should not have to pay back any money that I did not benefit from. I could understand if I keep the Pell grant, Financial Aid money but I did not. The University did not lose anything, I am the one who cannot do anything. I have close to $80K in student loans and all I ended up with was an Associates degree.
