    On October 9th, I visited the Lice Treatment Center since I suspected I had lice. They confirmed that I did have lice and “treated” me. At the end of the treatment, they told me that I was clean. They charged my credit card $456.69. Later that same day, I was checked by another lice treatment company who found not only nits but live bugs in my hair. When I called the Lice Treatment Center to complain that their treatment had not worked, they gave several excuses. I said that I wanted a refund which they said no to, but after some arguing, they said they would get back to me, and never did.

    On October 9, 2024 **** *** came in for a head lice screening. We discovered a severe infestation (meaning client most likely had lice 2-3 months prior to visiting Lice Treatment Center) and our Technician on site performed a complete treatment. After the treatment was complete our Technician informed **** she would need an additional treatment in 2-3 days because of how many bugs and eggs there were. It is impossible to remove every bug and egg on the first treatment when there is a severe infestation. Client declined to set up the additional treatment at time of service. Our Technician did not tell the client she was “clean” after treatment. There is a 5 days after care protocol to follow at home and we usually see clients for an additional treatment if needed and/or a follow up visit to confirm they are “clean” after the 5 days.

     

     

    **** was billed for 1.75 hours of service $323.75 plus optional products for home care and home cleaning $132.94 totaling $456.69

     

     

    On 10/10 we left a message for client to follow up and try to set up the 2nd treatment. We did not receive a response.

     

     

    On 10/11 client called and spoke with receptionist about being unhappy to which she took a message for the office manager. When the office manager followed up client did not respond.

     

     

    We do not agree to a refund for the service in this instance as the treatment was fulfilled and she chose to use another company for the second treatment instead of coming back to us.
