    I purchased a 2020 Mercedes-Benz C300 with 35,000 miles on it from this dealership in November 2023. By January 2024, the check engine light had already come on. I brought the car to the service department for evaluation and was told the fuel tank needed to be replaced—an issue that would cost over $10,000. Around the same time, the door latch broke off, preventing me from closing the rear passenger-side door.
    Six months later, the car began overheating and leaking antifreeze. Once again, I took it in for inspection. I was informed that the issue wasn't covered under warranty and was quoted $3,000 out of pocket to replace a pipe. After I raised concerns—pointing out I hadn’t even owned the car for a year—they agreed to repair it as a “goodwill gesture.”
    Three months after that, the car required a new battery. I contacted corporate to report the ongoing problems I’ve been facing with this vehicle in such a short time. After two weeks, I finally received a response, only to be told they couldn’t help me. I’ve also contacted the department supervisor, who also told me they weren’t able to do anything.
    As of April 2025, the check engine light is back on, the car won’t accelerate past 20 mph, and it shakes while driving. I’ve owned this car for just 1 year and 5 months, and it’s had continuous, costly issues. Mercedes-Benz sold me a lemon, and I believe I am owed a replacement vehicle. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car and dealership!!!!!

    Mercedes Benz of Fairfield is by far the greatest place to buy a car in town. Sajad J*** is so professional, has the best customer service and has made my car dreams come true on multiple occasions. Top-notch service from a top-notch person. Sajad makes you feel like family. If I could give 1 million stars for his phenomenal service, I would. Sajad knocks it out of the park when it comes to meeting your needs as a client and customer and really ensures you know you are a part of the Mercedes Benz Fairfield family. Go Sajad Go!! Thank you for your outstanding service.

    My daughter's car had an ignition switch malfunction. Not only did they not have the switch available for order. We were given a 2 month wait for part and service. Then they suggested we take the car to another dealership further away from us. Not good!!!

    The sales experience was top notch, however after the deal the customer service experience was less than. I purchased a preowned vehicle it was not a Mercedes on Aug 25, 2023, I had a 60 day warranty. The AC wasn't working I brought it back they had the dealership else where look and apparently did not do a proper assessment (thank god they are not working on airplanes) and fixed something else for 1500.00 needless to say the AC was still not working. Fast forward approximately 7 days later I'm driving down route 7 engine light goes on and the vehicle refuses to go over 36 miles per hour I had too put the hazard light on and record the dash board with the mileage and the speed. Spoke to the sales person I had it towed to Mercedes in Fairfield they had it looked at by the other dealership and concluded it was a transmission issue, I spent a lot of energy, time and money securing this vehicle. I bought this vehicle for my driving gig by this time I lost wages etc, I told the Mercedes of Fairfield I like the vehicle I will have my transmission mechanic do an assessment. I got it because it can only be driven in cool or cold weather. I waited for a call back from Ed trying to be a civil buyer since he told me he would get back to me. Two weeks went by I made a decision to fix the vehicle and I would like Mercedes to compensate me for the rebuilt transmission and the broken rear AC line, I sent an email and that was when I heard from the decision makers. I am shocked at the follow skills from this organization. When I purchased the vehicle there was little or no room for negotiation. Therefore why should I settle for a gift card less than the amount of the fixes, I have driven the vehicle 3x in 31 days I'm still under warranty of 60 days or 3000k miles.

    I wanted to take a moment to share a recent experience I had with John M***** at Mercedes Benz of Fairfield. I was looking at a pre-owned **** ***** near where I live at the **** ***** dealership in ********** ******** when my son found a much better deal online at Mercedes Benz of Fairfield.
    I contacted John to see if the car was still available and it was. I decided it was worth the drive to Connecticut to purchase the car. What happened next is truly unbelievable. I contacted the salesman at the **** ***** dealership in ********** to let him know I had found a better deal. He was very convincingly congratulatory and pressed me for details on the vehicle. So, like the trusting soul that I am, I told him. (All this was via email)
    Within minutes, several people from his dealership were on the phone with Mercedes Benz of Fairfield trying to buy the car out from under me and they persisted all day long! They offered 10 grand more to cancel the deal with me and sell the car to them. They said they could be up with a flatbed that day to pick up the car. I found this out when I arrived at Mercedes Benz of Fairfield later that evening.
    When I got there, John had pulled the car onto the showroom floor for me and once the deal was done, took the time to go through all of the controls and menus on how to operate the vehicle. That may not seem like a big deal but keep in mind, this was an **** ***** Stelvio and not a Mercedes. He took the time to learn the menus and controls on a car he doesn’t normally sell and then teach them to me!
    He could very easily have told me that he had made a mistake and that the car was no longer available to get the additional cash being offered by the less reputable people in Wilmington.
    The entire experience was top notch and I would definitely make the trip again. John will be my first call. He is a credit to his profession. Thank you John and Mercedes Benz of Fairfield for your honesty and integrity.
