  Working with Zak was a pleasure and stress free. He and all his workers are total professionals. He gave a very fair and accurate quote, did everything he said he would when they would. They arrived on time, Chris and William were extremely professional, personable and knowledgeable of their jobs. The crew they have are amazing and they do their jobs quickly and accurately. I have already recommended Zak to many of my neighbors and friends and several have already had their roofs done. **** ****** ********* **

  I hired Slavin Home improvement to do my roof. From the second I met Zak, I could tell he had the customers best interest as top priority, and best of all was not pushy wanting me to sign a contract that day which the two other roofing companies I had bid the job tried to get me to do. The day of the roof replacement, we were expecting rain about 1:30 PM. Zaks two Project Managers and crew showed up at 6:45am and 5 minutes later there were 5 guys on my roof stripping the old shingles off. They worked nonstop and got the roof finished before the rain started. Zak was such a good guy to work with that my father also hired Zak and crew to do his roof. My father and I are both very happy with the work that was done on our houses. I cannot stress enough what a great job they did. Every single person on his crew did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to hire them again and will recommend them to all my friends and family who need any roofing/home improvements done

  Zak, Danny and the crew were so professional with the roof replacement we had done. From the very beginning to the final nail and clean up, they were all spot on! I own a home improvement business and saw the quality of how the products were used. They went above and beyond code wise as well as workmanship. I highly recommend this company. ******* **

  I had two roof replacements done by Zak and his crew. I was amazed how quick his guys could strip 2 layers of shingles! His PM’s, Danny and Chris kept me updated on the progress of both jobs. I was pleased with the price and the finished projects. I highly recommend Zak Slavin Home Improvement for your roofing and gutter needs.

  Lots of work going on with my house this year, including a new roof. Slavin is the cream of the crop among professional services. From the first day meeting Zak, to the day of the job and speaking with Danny, it's been a great experience - recommend them wholeheartedly. My house is a bit over average size, and with a lot of boards that needed to be replaced, and the Slavin crew did it all in one day. Highly recommend Slavin.

  The entire experience was top notch. Slavin’s rate was the most competitive, the extras included in the price (e.g., entire roof water/ice coverage, 50-year shinfles) were not found elsewhere. The crew was timely, efficient and thorough. The yard was left in pristine condition and the roof looks amazing. Highly recommend!

  Slavin was an absolute pleasure to work with - friendly, responsive and professional from start to finish. Zak responded to my call about a quote the same day and came out the next day to take a look. Zak was courteous, straightforward and most importantly there was no high pressure sales tactics. Zak didn’t overcomplicate explanations, no upselling of unnecessary items. Zak sent a detailed quote within a day and the price was fair and in line (or better) than some others and inclusive of permits, dumpster and taxes) so that solidified our choice. We inherited an uncommon and limited color scheme from previous owners and Zak verified availability of a specific color drip edge to help maintain some consistency within the constraints we are limited to. We had to wait for warmer temps and once that happened Zak reached out to let me know they were ready to go the next week. On the project day, Danny (project manager) arrived at 7:00am sharp, explained the process and kept me updated on progress/to ask questions. When the crew was finished he walked me around to show me the completed work, give me the final number of plywood sheets they had to use and the additional charge (which was not a surprise, just an unknown number that would be required before they actually removed the old roof layers). The crew worked all day (with a break for lunch) and finished the whole project in the same day as promised. They cleaned everything up so well that if not for our beautiful new roof, you would have never known they were there. Zak and his team have set a very high bar for a standard of quality, service and excellence at a fair price - which can be a rare combination to find when a home improvement professional is needed, especially for something as large and important as a roof. We are extremely pleased with our new roof and our experience with Zak and the whole Slavin crew - they are truly deserving of all the 5 star reviews.
