    Hired Glastonbury Tree Care to remove some trees from my property. The work was completed the company was and paid in full. During the period that the work was being done, my lawn was damaged greatly with the heavy duty equipment the company brought in to do the work. Damage was also done tp lawn ornaments and flower pots. In addition, large oil stains were left on my driveway from the heavy duty equipment used the owner George B***** promised to return in the spring to repair and reseed the lawn. Calls and messages were left in April were not returned. I had to hire a landscaper to in May 2022 repair the lawn. The cost was $366.91. A registered letter was sent to the company and the owner on June 15,2022 requesting reimbursement of the lawn repair done.. My request was ignored.. I am still requesting said reimbursement.

    This was an emergency tree removal job to remove a tilted tree and 80 tons of trees. Customer stated he would remove the lawn ornaments and have the job site prepared for the removals. Upon arrival with the crane, the ornaments were still there and frozen to the ground. Customer stated to not worry about them and to continue the work. The job site was immaculately raked from the snow and mud. I also came back and put down grass seed as I promised to do. I did have a small hydraulic leak but the stain came up and did not ruin his driveway. Anytime there is snow on the ground there will be mud. I did the best I could to leave the job site in great shape and even went the extra mile to plant grass seed.

    I am rejecting this response because there are numerous falsehoods to the business' response. They showed up with a crane to remove the trees without warning and simply drove over the lawn ornaments. When questioned at the time, the response was "Sorry, I should have told you to remove them". The oil stains from their equipment still remain on my driveway. (See photos attached) The company NEVER returned to reseed the lawn as promised. The business. in their response never addressed my complaint over calls made in late April wondering when they were going to return to fix the lawn. If they had done what they promised why would I need to hire and pay a landscaper $366..01 to fix my lawn. In the business' response. They also conveniently avoided explaining why why there was no response to my registered letter dated June 15th, 2022. I do not consider this complaint resolved and still requesting a reimbursement of $366.91 for lawn repair that was their responsibility.
