On September 19, 2023, I ordered medication from Greenwich Pharmacy, *** ********* ***** ********** ** ***** (telephone ###-###-####). The pharmacy filled the prescription for me and mailed it to my home in *************. I was told that the cost of the med was $500, but the receipt I received with the med, and my credit card bill was $632.50.

I only noticed this discrepancy about a month ago when I was adding up my 2023 medical expenses for tax purposes. I have been corresponding with the pharmacist for a month now to try to find out what sort of mistake has been made, and he repeatedly states that he "will look into it."

When I ordered the med by phone, there was no mention of a shipping charge or "overnighting". Even if there were and the pharmacist simply failed to mention it, the charge could not amount to over $100. I did not make any other purchases from the store.

In sum, my credit card charge is $100 more than the receipt from Greenwich Pharmacy states. I can provide the email thread of correspondence between me and the pharmacist over the past month. I was remiss for not noticing the issue before now, and it is too late to file a dispute with my credit card company. I do not know if the pharmacy is charging me for postage, if a simple mistake has been made, or if there is fraud involved. I cannot get a response from the pharmcy. I am seeking a refund of $100 and hoping that the BBB can help.

The subject line of the email that you just sent to me this afternoon (3/20/24) states that my complaint had been sent to the business I made my complaint to.  They responded about two hours later with a reimbursement of $100 to my credit card account.  Was that the result of your notice to them?  If so, I thank you very much!

    Best regards,
