    I had a leak in a sewer pipe in my basement. I found Drain Doctor ** online and made an appointment. Tom Wundeler came out to look at the issue and told me they could reline my pipe so it would not leak anymore. He sent me an estimate for $10,500 for the job and a contract outlining what Drain Doctor NY would do to fix the issue.
    I signed the contract and put down a $5,000 deposit (via ****** to start the job. No one ever called me to schedule an appointment. I called him several times to set up a day and time and he finally agreed to come January 29-31. He never showed up. I called and texted several times and he never responded to my calls or texts.
    I finally realized that he was never actually going to come to do any of the work that he had promised, nor was he going to refund my $5,000 deposit. Tom Wundeler is running a fraudulent business and preying upon people in need of such services. His business should be shut down and he should be in jail for fraud.

    Bad experience with Drain Doctor Plumbing Specialist of 220 Byram Rd, Greenwich, CT. He doesn’t show up when he says he will. He vanishes during the day leaving the job to work on his own house before completing our job. He couldn’t even submit the necessary documentation to the **** ** **** ** for final approval because he didn’t have the right equipment to download the video on a thumb drive. I had to hire another plumber to record the video of the pipe lining and download it onto a thumb drive. His work was extremely sloppy, he left sewer dirt on the finished floor and walls of an apartment. I spent a great deal of time cleaning up after him, including touch up painting the wall trim around the area he worked. Within hours of finally completing the job he threatened to put a lien on my property if I didn’t pay within two hours. He had an attorney lined up and pointed out that the contract stated I was responsible for any and all legal costs. I tried to deduct the amount I had to pay the other plumber to finish the job but, again, he threatened to place a lien on my property for the $250 if I didn’t pay in full. I have requested a “paid in full” receipt many, many times over several weeks and still have not received it. Do not use Drain Doctor of Greenwich, CT (Thomas Wundeler): Unethical, Sloppy, Incomplete Work and Extremely Unreliable.
