My husband purchased a car here 6 weeks ago. After 4 weeks he noticed a bucking in the vehicle and he’s a mechanic so he was able to self diagnose it. We then brought it to the ********** location to have it serviced they called the next day said it was ready and the transmission lines were replaced right before he bought it and that was the issue. We then drove 45 minutes back up there the following day for him to test drive it, again still had the bucking issue so they did not fix the problem. Finally the Wednesday before thanksgiving two days after dropping it off they then said they would replace the transmission. I then call 11/30/23 service dept tells me it’s almost together will definitely be ready by tomorrow 12/1. I hear nothing all day on Friday so I then call the dealership at 4pm they called me back within a few minutes of me leaving a message to let me know that the transmission is still not working and now it needs to be reprogrammed at ****** or another transmission replacement. 4 week we have had the car. I then asked what would happen if it need another transmission I would be without a car again for at least another week and they told me yes unfortunately. There is a lemon law in CT which I’ve spoken to the vehicle commissioner for the state. I would like to be taken out of this car and put into something safe for my family and 3 year old daughter. This is absolutely ridiculous. I asked to speak with an owner or manager and the service dept told me he was the manager? I dont know but it’s been 6 weeks, 2 weeks without the car and I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied.
