    I order a special Birthday cake for delivery on July 27,2024 from Custome Cakes. They charge me 99.75 plus on delivery gave the guy 20.00 dollars tip for delivering the cake to my home. When we had dinner celebration and cut the cake, we had a chocolate cake with buttercream. I order a whip cream strawberry filling. Called phone number provided on website and spoke to Steve. He stated they must of swiched the cake and I got the wrong order. He says no worries enjoy and I will refund your money. He never refunded the money, and I put a claim on my credit card because we did not enjoy cake and really was not anybody preference to eat. I received a letter from ********** stating he delivered goods in good condition. Not good customer service when you get what you did not order, and they tell you they will reimburse.

    They requested a cake for the same week and I advised that wasn’t able to make the carrot cake that they wanted because I didn’t have the supplies. I emailed with the choices available. Perhaps they weren’t happy with any other cake besides carrot?

    after the cake was delivered I spoke to them and apologized if the flavor wasn’t what they requested and to enjoy the cake that they did receive and I would make it right by providing a refund or a new cake, whichever they preferred.

    I sent the email attached asking them which resolution they wanted either I could refund them, make them a new cake, or give them a credit. After asking this question, I received no response. Instead I received a one star review.

    i sent them the next email that even though I hadn’t heard from them I tried to refund them the money but ****** would not let me. I received no response

    then I got a bbb compliant 

    I wanted to resolve the matter quickly but wasn’t able to because of a problem with ******. Now I don’t know what else to do.
