    On March 29, 2024 I purchased a 40 hour package of college application assistance from UpGraded LLC. The sole owner is Brittany H*******. I used my **** to pay for this. The cost was $4444.

    By the end of May 2024 only 8.5 hours had been used. I had 31.5 hours remaining and the plan (which was approved by Ms. H*******) was for my son to use the remaining hours over the summer of 2024. I reached out to 6/11/24 to schedule an appointment with Ms. H*******, and received no response so I tried to schedule an on-line session which I was unable to do as her sessions were booked through December 2024. My son also reached out and did not receive a response. Ms. H******* finally responded on 6/13/24 and stated she could not work with my son on 6/14/24 as we requested because she was considering terminating our agreement. I was shocked and asked her if we could speak about this, and she declined. Instead, she sent a barrage of text messages where she told me three times that she would gladly refund my balance ($3465).

    6/19/24. I sent her a ***** request for the refund, $3465

    6/19/24 She refunds me $465 as a refund “advance” and states that she will be in touch to explain the “refund process.” I did not hear back from her.

    On 6/28/24 I sent a ***** request for $3000. She did not pay any additional funds. She replied via text that it is difficult to refund money to a credit card and that she will refund me when she has time.

    The bottom line is that I paid for 40 hours of college application assistance, and she was unwilling to provide us with those hours from 6/11/24 onward. On 6/13/24 she offered to refund our money since SHE wasn’t sure if she wanted to work with us anymore. When I requested the refund, she provided a $465 refund and refused to pay the additional $3000 she owes. (I have proof of all of my interactions with her and a receipt for the $4444 that states it expires 7/7/24, even though she put in writing the expiration could be extended.)
