  We remember when we were deciding on a wedding planner, we were impressed by how enthusiastic all of CCBL’s reviewers were. Now we understand why: Lisa is the perfect wedding planner and CCBL was worth every penny. We were planning a complex, multi-cultural/faith wedding on a pretty strict budget and Lisa and her team were the perfect people to help us plan it. Lisa talked us out of our most outlandish ideas (in a kind and gentle way), was incredibly patient with us, and always made us feel like we had someone to reach out to. And then, her team’s execution on the day of was absolutely flawless. The whole team was unbelievably well prepared, rolled with the punches, and made sure our needs were met. Everything went off smoothly, and the credit goes to CCBL. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, and we had the wedding of our dreams. Trust us, you will be happy you went with the CCBL team. And at the end of the day, we literally said to one another, “wow, it’ll be sad not to work with Lisa anymore” and that’s how much we loved working with her. She became a confidant, friend, and a valued part of our wedding day as a human being. Thank you so much, Lisa!

  I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Lisa and her team are. I honestly cannot imagine how we would have gotten through the planning process without her. She truly made things feel easy in a very confusing and stressful time. She made our visions and dreams come through. Even through budget concerns, she was able to get us everything we could have ever asked for and more. Lisa is someone who cares deeply for her clients and adapts to each couples needs. She is beyond knowledgeable about the industry, creative, and professional. After our wedding, my wife and I often mentioned how amazing Lisa and Kelly were and how we couldn’t even begin to say how thankful we are. And to further prove how above and beyond they are: we had a food allergy incident with our vendor and while Lisa went to bat dealing with cranky food vendors and sanitizing spaces, her assistant Kelly ran through a down pouring rain storm to grab the Epipen. And they made it all feel okay and safe. I would highly recommend.

  I’ve found myself back on Lisa’s page as I’m helping a friend plan a wedding and Lisa is our first recommendation. Lisa deserves only the most positive reviews— not only did myself and my husband work with her, but she has worked with numerous of our friends/coworkers of different backgrounds, nationalities and ethnicities. She always goes above and beyond, is extremely easy to work with, has a plethora of quality vendors she recommends, and overall makes the wedding experience SO much easier. Not only did she impress us every step of the way, but she impressed every single event planner that worked at our venue (which we booked before we hired Lisa)— I still remember having our first meeting with the at-venue coordinator and Lisa coming with her 2 inch thick binder of all the details, perfectly maintained and organized. You know you’re working with someone fab when she’s making an incredible impression not only on her clients, but on other event planning staff in the industry!

  There are literally a million reasons why working with Creative Concepts by Lisa was the best decision we've ever made. Lisa & her team are the best of the best - industry experts, organized, thoughtful and FUN. But to me, the most valuable aspect of working with Lisa was this - Immediately upon getting engaged, I (like many of you reading this) was instantly inundated with all sorts of advice from friends & family, the most common of which was "try to soak in every moment of your wedding day - you're going to blink and then it'll be over." As a bride, I hated hearing this! I didn't want the day to fly by, and I wanted to feel fully present on my wedding day - especially after months and months of planning. We got married on May 19, 2023 and I am SO thrilled to report that because of Lisa, Marcy, Ann & Traci, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every. single. moment. of our wedding day. In fact, the day didn't fly by at all! We were able to focus solely on all the love that surrounded us - I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING because Lisa's team did it all quietly & seamlessly. As a bride, what more can you ask for? Lisa & her team gave us the incredible gift of TIME to sit back and enjoy the most wonderful day of our lives. From the moment we hired her, I immediately felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Suddenly I was able to focus on the "fun stuff" because I knew that Lisa was handling all of the little things - some of which I hadn't even thought of! Truly don't know what we would've done without her. In Lisa, we found a dedicated planner, a lifelong friend, and an incredibly bright, shining star in the crazy world that is the wedding industry…and we're eternally grateful.

  I hired Lisa to plan my mother's 60th Birthday Bash at the *** ***** **** ****. Lisa was simply amazing and doesn't miss a trick. She is super organized and remembers every single detail. She always has a positive attitude and always has you laughing and enjoying the process. And she works her tail off at the event. She is never sitting down or looking at her phone. She is hustling. I am a firm believer in hiring a planner for any event. A planner like Lisa takes on all the stress and responsibilities so you can enjoy the event and not have to worry. She also helps in the planning process to help make important decisions from food and beverage to design and decor. The biggest help for me was creating a budget and sticking to it. Lisa helped me find lower cost alternatives through her relationships with the best vendors in CT. Sometimes you do not realize you need an event planner until it's too late. Don't let yourself get stuck. Instead, call Lisa for a flawlessly executed event that you can actually enjoy as the host. She's THE BEST.

  Lisa was without a doubt the best decision I made and I would highly recommend you do the same. She is not only one of the most genuine and loving humans, she is also a bad*** *ogistical goddess and has an eye for details like no other. When it came to wedding planning and the wedding day itself...my wife and I had 1 goal in mind....to be truly present and enjoy every moment. Hiring Lisa allowed us to do exactly that. Lisa and her team hit the ground running vetting potential vendors and helping us to nail down our design vision. We were planning an out of state wedding but with Lisa by our side, the struggles you would anticipate having did not exist. There never came a time in our planning process where we didn't feel heard, loved and supported. Especially once the pandemic hit. Covid-19 was a HUGE curveball that was thrown our way but we never had to face anything alone. Throughout our postponement, micro wedding to our almost cancellation, rebooking and then finally the wedding weekend Lisa was our superhero. She handled our indecisiveness, tears, anger, fear and any other emotion that you could think of with professionalism, grace and the utmost genuine love. My wife and I are pretty type A people and had a very clear idea of how our celebration would look, feel and be experienced....and yet again...Lisa hit the nail on the head. We were speechless. From the minute we arrived on site to the second we drove off property, Lisa handled it all and we can not be more grateful for her. Lisa truly executed our day flawlessly. From vendor communication, logistics, timing, to design details - she went above and beyond and THAT is why we hired Lisa and why you should too! Because of Lisa, we were able to be truly present in each and every moment of our wedding weekend + that is the greatest gift we could have received.

  We had a very frustrating year working with Lisa for our May 2023 wedding. She was unprofessional in communication, attitude, and tone. She initially sent us three venues; after we stated that we were looking for something else, we did not hear back for over a month and ended up finding our venue ourselves. She did not help with our budget, which she later called "itsy bitsy." She rushed us into booking a caterer and did not reveal their high minimum until we were close to signing the contract. She only recommended one photographer and videographer until pushed. She became increasingly sarcastic, rude, and disrespectful. Email follow-ups were necessary, with delays of one to two months. When we brought up concerns, she initially improved. However, her behavior soon reverted, signaling numerous times how busy she was. She provided conflicting information, such as claiming that florists were not discussing 2023 weddings, while many were already booked. We had another meeting to establish expectations. Unfortunately, within 15 minutes, she reacted poorly, and instead angrily told us that our emails made her "feel dumb" because we used the phrase "to be clear". She directed this comment at my fiancée, though I had sent the email. She continued to blame my fiancée for making her "feel like poop" over the past few months. Though we did not go into the meeting with the intention to fire her, we ended our relationship with Lisa. We only regret that we did not do so sooner. Finally, if you’re working with family, be warned that Lisa will often side with more “senior” family members over your own preferences! Lisa was generously hired by an extended family member. Instead of contacting us to make amends, Lisa instead complained to the family member, lied about her productivity, and blamed us and our budget for her condescending decisions and rudeness. We would hate for others to have the same horrible experience we did and would recommend potential clients to beware!

  It was an absolute honor to have Lisa as our wedding planner. She exceeded our expectations throughout the whole process of planning by being organized, accessible, attentive to detail, caring for everyone involved, and making sure all of my dreams and plans were going to be executed perfectly. On the day of the wedding, she was on top of everything and made the whole day enjoyable. Simply her presence throughout the venue was assured that every part of the wedding would run smoothly. I love her passion for organizing weddings and coordinating them with excellence and professionalism. From the moment I met her, I knew that I could fully trust her. Overall, she is a kind, loving, and caring person to know; it was such a pleasure to get to know her for one of the most important events of our lives. My husband and I are extremely grateful to her and her expertise. So much so that I didn't think I’d be able to find words to describe how truly amazing she is! Also, she has an incredible team that works alongside her and I loved that she made all the vendors feel like they were part of the team as well. She has a gift for bringing groups together to accomplish a goal. Lisa and the entire Creative Concepts team will always have a place in our hearts and have contributed to our wonderful lifelong wedding memories! I recommend Creative Concepts (10/10!) to all brides!
