    As I explained when you first made phone contact last fall, no one is in our office or near a computer during a winter
    storm event to respond to any email messages. 

    Normally the answering
    service will take phone messages and relay them to me during a winter event, but my phone got lost
    during the beginning of the storm.  It is somewhere in a snowbank.  No messages got through to me on 03/01/2023.  I
    will try looking for it later today after some of the snow melts.

    I apologize for not servicing your driveway, but we have no
    signed contract on file.  Did you or your wife send it back to us? 

    I will have a driver at the shop this afternoon
    if you want me to send him over to clear.

     

     

    FOLLOW UP .... 03/01/2023 

    The driver who was in this afternoon and I went and plowed
    the driveway as well as applied a layer of magic salt to keep the area from
    refreezing tonight.

    We are discounting the plowing 50% and no charge for the
    magic salt application.  A savings of $200.00 for the inconvenience.  Regular rates apply for future events for the remainder of this season.

    NOTE: I found the email from Nov 9th.  It was
    unopened.  I receive over 100 emails a day during the season and
    unfortunately yours got buried.  I have printed it off the email and
    entered it into our database as well as putting the property on the correct
    plowing list.  You will be done automatically in the future if you want to
    retain the service.

    I would suggest that you put plow markers along the lawn
    side to mark where the edge of the lawn meets the driveway.  If we had a
    deep snowfall, plowing would just be a guess on where the actual asphalt
    is.  No need to mark the right side, just the left side.
