    I have been targeted specifically by this unscrupulous private company who is a shady third party that the city is very clear to divorce themselves from when you try to get clarification about rules (they have no clue), complain about unfair tickets (they hide behind this third party shadow company), and / or obtain info regarding holidays and street cleaning / ticketing. At my hearing, Latisha Jones lied, invented laws, put words into my mouth (such as "you admit..." and following it with things never said), and multiple fake workers were called over to listen-in to the conversation because a similar attack was attempted at the DMV. They will all be wrapped into a larger suit vs the state soon.

    AGAIN! Same issue I am getting tickets where I am SUPPOSE to be parking bc they removed the sign from my street.

    Their agents target poor neighborhoods. The street signs are unclear, old or missing so they write tickets that are not violations but because the signs on the street are missing you have no proof of them lying. They need to be fair!

    Thank you for taking the time to reach out! The Hartford Parking Authority is responsible for on-street parking throughout the City of Hartford. Parking enforcement reviews all areas within the City, and does not target specific areas. There are locations that are reviewed more frequently, due to the installation of metered parking, residential parking zones, etc. We do not target any locations based on economic demographics.
    If there are locations with missing or unclear signage, we strongly encourage that you report those concerns to our office. When we receive notifications of missing or unclear signage, the HPA works with the City’s Department of Public Works to repair or replace signage, as applicable.
