    We would like to formally respond to the complaint filed by **** regarding the early termination of a signed Exclusive Right to Sell Agreement for the property located at ** ******** *** ********** **.

    On April 14, 2025, **** voluntarily entered into a legally binding Exclusive Right to Sell Listing Agreement – CT Realtor – Fair Housing Opportunity with Five Stars Realty. This contract clearly states that the broker is entitled to a service fee regardless of how the buyer is introduced to the property. The agreement also outlines that the seller may not sell the property independently without obligation to the broker, please find it attached. 

    On April 15, 2025, **** requested to cancel the agreement. Although the brokerage had the right to enforce a 3% service fee ($7,650) based on the property’s market value, we made a significant concession by offering to settle the matter for a flat fee of $2,500.00. This represents a discount of $5,150.00 and was offered in good faith to avoid further complications.

    Additionally, **** has used inappropriate and offensive language in both written and verbal communications with our office and staff. These incidents are documented and attached. 

    We have already requested that **** retract the complaint and allow it to be closed. Our brokerage has acted professionally and in accordance with both contractual terms and ethical standards. This fee was not arbitrary, but a significantly reduced amount based on a legally enforceable agreement.

    We respectfully request that this complaint be closed and marked as resolved, and that our response be included in the public record.

    Attached is the Letter to our Legal Counsel, Letter to **** * *****, Signed Exclusive Right to Sell Agreement, Signed Termination Agreement acknowledging the $2,500.00 settlement and Email Correspondence form **** *****.

    buy5starsrealty threatened to take legal action against me for filing this complaint with the BBB. I have submitted a photo of the letter they have sent me threatening me because I filed a complaint with BBB.
