    I’ve been going to the Jewett City, CT store since they opened. Always a positive experience. Friendly, fast, helpful. Any questions are thoroughly answered and they always find the most cost-effective and quick way for me to ship my items. I do a lot of donation work and it is IMPERATIVE these items arrive at their locations and they ALWAYS do. I know how much everything is going to be and what those costs are for before I hand over my credit card. A receipt is always given and there is even an email follow-up that includes tracking numbers. The owner - Kim - is my cousin for transparency. Do I use this business because she is family? Yes. More so, I use this business (Jewett City, CT location) because I know I can trust their work ethic and business practices. I always deal with Maira at this location and she is beyond wonderful. I highly recommend Two Sisters.

    The service was polite until I was directed to the manager for a dispute about a incorrect receipt total. The receipt I was given wasn't the amount charged to my credit card. I complained about this because I submitted the receipt for reimbursement already with my employer. The manager told me that there are signs declaring there will be surcharge for credit cards and that should have been enough information. The receipt I was give did not have the surcharge on it and the sign doesn't disclose the surcharge amount. There is no way I would know the correct amount I was charged unless they give me the credit card transaction receipt. I then asked why don't they also give the credit card transaction receipt knowing the amount is different from the shipping receipt? The manager's response was because the credit card receipt doesn't automatically print. I tried to ask why don't they just manually print the receipt every time someone uses a credit card? The manager replied, "we only print receipt if someone asks for it." How would I know to ask for it? I don't assume my receipt would not have all the information about my transaction. I left the establishment with no resolution because I could not get the manager to see the problem. I didn't even want my money back, I just wanted them to change their procedure as it could be seen as fraud. If I was using a business credit card and our accountant saw the difference on the receipt I handed in, I would have been accused of theft.
