I would give 0 stars if I was allowed. Matt L***** of Capitol Property Group is a joke. I'll make note that anyone else I have spoken to from his office has been kind. I had been told I needed to pay $150 for access to the roof where I was told by the property group the a/c was located for a condo unit because 8:15 am is considered "after hours". No problem. They send someone out without giving me a name or number to the person I was supposed to meet. This person goes on the roof and says the unit isn't there that it's on the ground. This service tech was very apologetic and he himself said he would talk to someone because he even thought that I shouldn't have had to pay considering it was HIS office that told me the unit was located on the roof. After weeks of his office telling me they'd forward Matt my emails, give him my number, etc I finally decided to go to the office. Matt was far too busy to be bothered. He took ZERO responsibility for anything and acted 100% the part of a grimy business person. He said it's not up to his office to know where the units are located. I'd totally accept that as an answer had his office not specifically told me that the unit was on the roof. I asked him for his last name and he was reluctant to give it to me. He also wouldn't give me his card. I would absolutely never recommend giving this company your business.

    The A/C units are not
our company's responsibility to track or take care of- these belong to the unit
owners and it is the unit owner's responsibility to know where they are.
The majority of the AC units for this association are on the roof.  The
agent asked where the AC was located so we sent one of our maintenance guys to
help find it, and if it was on the roof, to give them access as it is a locked
area.  Our office is open from 9-5 and we were asked to meet outside of
our business hours. We accommodated this request, and even though it was
outside of our normal hours, we charged our normal business hours rate.
It's our company's policy to charge a 2-hour minimum for any service call. We
had asked to change the meeting time to accommodate business hours, but the
request was denied.  If they worked with us with the times, we might have
been able to work together on a better outcome.

Respectfully, the reply from Capital Property Group is leaving out some important details. Prior to even requesting an appointment, I had asked if the a/c unit was on the roof or the ground. I was told by the office that the a/c unit was located on the roof, not that they would come check to see if it was on the roof. While I understand the maintenance of the a/c units are owners responsibility, if the office had no idea where it was located that should have been there answer to me from the begining. The reply states "The A/C units are not our company's responsibility to track or take care of- these belong to the unit owners and it is the unit owner's responsibility to know where they are." I'd have no issue if this was the ORIGINAL response that I had received from the office. The issue is not that I had to pay. Had they told me the a/c was located on the roof and it was $150 to unlock the door to be serviced and that was all of truth, there would be no problem. I was in agreement to pay for after hour services, as if I wasn't I wouldn't have paid it. It's the fact that I had to pay it because I was told of the supposed location. There was no issue telling me it was on the roof, or swiftly sending an invoice to collect my payment but when it comes to taking ownership for misinformation and mistakes, Matt L**** and Capital Property Group fail at holding themselves accountable.

Very poor customer service and poor communication with the owners of our condos. Doesn’t follow through with our concerns. They don’t return phone calls or respond to emails.
