      We had had an issue with air in our water for a few months. I called Bigelow Plumbing on June 8, 2022. Brian agreed to come out and look at the problem. He arrived on June 16 and said the pump and tank in the basement needed to be replaced. He never ran the water from any of the faucets, toilets or showers to see what I was talking about with the air in the water. He came weeks later on July 14, 2022 and replaced pump and tank for $2700. I sent him a text the next day that there was still air in the line, he text back that it must be the foot valve in our well. On July 23, he came and climbed into our well. After about 2 hours he came out saying he was done and it would be $400. He then turned on the water and there was now almost no water, just air. He went back to the well for a while, then told me that when he put on the new fitting, he noticed a drip, so he tightened it once more which cracked the pipe leading from well to house. He then said he would have to solder new pipe to the old. Hours later, the new pipe would not allow pump in basement to prime. He then stated I needed to have a new well drilled because the pipe to house was too corroded. Used flex hose from well directly into house to get us temporary water. Gave me a name for a well company, charged us $800 for that day, I paid him and he left. On July 26, my husband asked him to make it right, because we paid him $3500 and he never fixed our problem. If it was the pipe to begin with, he took advantage of us by putting in new equipment we didn't need. He agreed over the phone to give my husband back $1500, but never sent it or agreed to it in writing. When asked in text about the $1500, he messaged back that he would come out and put in a new pipe for free, but we would need to pay $500 for him to rent an excavator. There is no way we are ever giving him another penny. We are left with a horrible temporary solution, and a permanent solution that will cost us thousands on top of the $3500 we gave him.
