    I paid a $7,000+ deposit in September (so 5 months ago) to create a bathroom, add a dishwasher, and move the washer/dryer. I was upfront from the start that I wanted a quick job since I was continuing to rent until the work on the house was done. He confirmed that he could start right away and that it was a four week job. To date, he still hasn't started the bathroom and only installed the appliances after I hounded him for 4 months. He ignores text messages and only responds when I double or triple text. He has excuses for everything, but shows zero initiative to actually start the work in between said hardships. It took 3 months to secure a permit because he kept claiming the building dept lost the applications, while the building dept said they had no record of his ever submitting an application. I don't know who's lying, but I do know that Rob told me repeatedly that he was checking with them for updates, when he obviously wasn't, and that his story changed when he was talking to me vs. the building inspector. After countless hours of work on my end to force them to do their jobs, high stress and frustration, and wasting thousands of dollars on rent, we finally were issued the permits after 3 months. BUT it has now been 2 more months and Rob has still not begun work on the bathroom. I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior before, with the constant excuses and him ranting and cursing about other construction people. It is always somebody else's fault. After 5 months of my being beyond patient and understanding, I decided it's best to cut my losses (in the thousands) and move on. I have requested a refund for the $7,000 deposit multiple times now and he's since ghosted me completely, refusing to respond to various forms of communication. Someone else texted on his phone claiming health issues but that he would get in touch with me. That was weeks ago, with still no word. Any businessman would designate someone to handle things in his absence.

    A full refund has been issued minus the permits that were pulled at our expense and the work that was completed. Unfortunately this is a problem lately with sub contractors no one shows up ! Everyone is sick ! Unfortunately I have had major health problems and I have no control over that. The town of ******* has temp help at this time dues to the main guy being out in injury. He almost died. And the office help has also changed hands so unfortunately the box out front of the building is the main mailbox for permits. Permit was pulled three times. Checks never cashed. But miss ***** feels it appropriate to bash my business for things we can’t control. Our contract never stated a start or end date. I was in in contact the whole time with her and did things as fast as possible. There was no reason she couldn’t move and and avoid rental costs. That was a choice she made because she has cats.

    October 2021 Premo & Sons replaced the roof on the house I was purchasing. Prior to closing on Nov. 1st 2021 the new roof was already leaking. On the day of our walk thru the roof was still leaking, with the contractor there, he promised to fix it and take care of it. He even provided a written warranty to me for one year. The roof continued to leak even after their attempts to repair it. For the next 6 months we went thru multiple communications on how his sub-contractor did shoddy work and that he would need to work thru the process. They even went as far as having two independent roofers provide him with new estimates to replace the defective roof, who both of which stated the wrong material was used. I was never provided with the estimates and it was at that time, May 2022 that the contractor ceased returning my communications and provided no further remedy or repair option. All attempts by me to contact them have not been returned, silence. I still have interior damage caused by the leaking roof, some of which is hidden above a plaster ceiling that too has damage, with potential mold above it. Premo & Sons has ghosted me for the past 6 months and is in full breach of contract on the provided warranty. Bad workmanship & quality, wrong materials used, terrible customer service and communications and no honor of said warranty. This has been a truly terrible experience, leaving me with a new home to me that is defective due to Premo & Sons. Even the tile ceiling that they replaced before closing on the house has fallen down due to poor work. My ceiling now has water stained and deformed tiles and missing tiles in a 8 foot square section with nothing but insulation showing. Repair or refund me so I can get someone to due it properly.

    We have had many issues with this roofing contractor and have discontinued our relationship. I have been actively dealing financial resolution to get this fixed. I haven’t received any messages from this customer in a long time and lost his contact info. I will reach out and get this going

    I am rejecting this response because:  The last communication to me from Premo was on May 21, 2022, at that time you stated..."I had no idea they used the wrong material.  I’m trying to work out a solution I don’t have 12k to front materials.  I’m going after the subcontractor contractor.".  Same thing he stated on this BBB response over 5 months later. No updates, just silence.

    I sent texts to Premo on June 28, 2022 asking for a status update and forwarded pics of the ceiling tiles that fell, that were his work.  Plus pics of the damage that was still there from the leaking roof.  Premo did not respond.Next text sent July 25, 2022 checking in.  Premo did not respond.

    Last text I sent was October 6, 2022.  Premo did not respond.

    So no, I do not accept response.  It is the same response I have been getting from this contractor since last year, just weeks after his final attempt to repair.
