    Took my ******* ******** to them with a starting issue. They determined that it needed a new transmission and a used one was ordered and installed on 9/26/22, costing $2,354.50. The issue continued after installation and they were made aware of this. They could not duplicate the issue yet it occurs for me 50% of the time. I called to inform them of this and was told "it was a used transmission with a guarantee and it may need to be replaced again. They can only check for so much." I returned the car to them, and they said they "changed some codes" and it should be all set. Three days later it happened again, stranding me at a grocery store with frozen food in the car. I called them again and the person on the phone was rude and said "we can't duplicate the issue" and left me without a solution. My boyfriend stopped in to the garage to find out what next steps they recommended. Speaking with an older gentlemen (presumed the owner but unsure) who seemed surprised that the problem continued. He was willing to look at it again but stressed they wanted to see the problem first hand. Apparently hearing about the symptoms was not enough, though the symptoms were the same as from day one, when they were sure a new transmission would fix the issue. As a result, I have been unable to drive the car for fear of being stranded yet again. I do drive it periodically and the problem still persists. I will have to take this to another garage but am out the money for the transmission, which clearly was not needed and had nothing to do with the problem.
