I purchased what I thought was ******* ** quarter panel along with a rear end axle which was supposed to be a 8.8 rear end (which came in ** ********) but was in fact a 7.5 rear end (which came in ** ********). I paid 500 for that axle and it was the wrong one, doesn’t fit and I soon found out it is worthless as no one tried to buy it from me when I tried to resell it for 100 dollars to recoup my losses. The employee that sold it to me told me the axle didn’t fit their ** ******* only AFTER I tried to install it in my car and asked him what was going on (pinion flange wasn’t the same, he brushed it off). Since I live 4 hours from the shop I tried to settle it with the employee that sold me the axle with a partial refund but he kept coming up with excuses. When I called the shop owner he said it wasn’t his problem and was generally very dismissive and unprofessional about it. The employee gave me a signed and dated receipt for these parts and then denied ever writing one and asked me to send photos of it when I told them they gave me a receipt. The owner said only he writes recepts and tried to use that as a reason to ignore this issue. I have been only polite with them seeking to resolve this in a friendly manner. 500 dollars is a lot of money to loose, especially in this time when people are suffering financially. The employee keeps telling me he will pay me back but never does and ignores my messages when the date he promises to pay me back comes.Initial Complaint

1/26/2023 I paid off a 2010 ******** *** * cylinder sedan silver. vin number ***************** the auto shop never gave me the title. I went to get the my car fix . The Auto shop (pete autos ) never fix the car . I ask for my car back and I stated I am going to sell it my self . Pete stated leave me the title and I’ll sell it for you . I have not had my vehicle since 08/2023 to present . I purchased a vehicle with a down payment of 3000 in March of 2023 and around October I started having transmission issues. I’ve been trying to contact the business because I was told that I would have a 1 year warranty and there is no active phone nor is there anyone at the location. The truck was sold to me 12/17 with no know issues from me, the owner told me truck ran beautiful. Was told it needed a tune up oil change and brakes changed. Truck was ready on 12/21. Brought the truck home. Next day drove to work and on my way home check engine light, oil light and oil gauge was not working and the truck also went into limp mode( transmission stays in first gear to prevent issue from damaging vehicle). Called the dealer and told them that I left it at a gas station and they needed to pick up and fix the issue. Got a ride home dropped key off. Kept in contact with the dealer and January 7th I received the truck back and was told it was fixed. So from Dec 22nd to jan 4th the dealership had the truck. Picked it up on the 4th drove it home. On my way to work January 5th halfway to work the check engine light came on again followed by the oil light and oil gauge dropping to zero and truck went into limp mode again. Called the dealer they said to bring it to them and they will fix it. So January 5th the truck was dropped off. Keep in mind when the truck is in limp mode you can only drive 25mph no one offered to pick it up or give me a ride. Dropped off on Jan 5th picked up again on Jan 12 was told the mechanic drove it 20+ miles, I picked up truck drove it to store and home. Jan 13 drive the truck to work, same thing on my way in check engine light came on, oil light, oil gauge dropped to zero and truck went into limp mode. I drove 25 mph to work in a 45. Called the owner he said he would schedule and appointment with a Chevy dealer to get fixed. Told me he would call me. Never offered to pick up truck or give me a ride. Drove 25mph all the way home. Owner has been blowing me off ever since then, keeps saying it'll get fixed and I am out a bunch of money and the truck is sitting in my driveway. Paid $1700 down and almost a full month of full coverage insurance and paid my first months truck payment of $548Business Response

I bought a car off of them and three days after having the car I noticed it had transmission problems and told them he had transmission problems and they told me I didn't then I took it back a month or two ago and then they looked at it and said all you have transmission problems I was told it was going to take 2 days I found out I could take up take the two days to get out early so I can take a bus to work and home then they told me it's going to be three days so they had a schedule 3 days so I can be able to take a bus to work and home now they're saying they can't even find a transmission for my vehicle and I can't keep on making days to be able to take a bus to work and home without getting in trouble at work I need something to get done and fastInitial Complaint

Bought the car 10/11/2021 -Had to get the cv axle replaced 11/16/2021 -Not told car was smoke in -Rockers (passenger AND driver) side are spray foam and some type of chicken wire -Quarter panels (passenger AND driver) have a bad bondo job -Just found out the rear axle is pushed more to right side (passenger side) 06/03/2022 Seems like no safety check was done Car seems to be as if car was in an accident before because of rear axle and quarter panels.Business Response

This vehicle wasn't purchased at Petes auto sales and Service. the named vehicle was purchased from ***** **** ****** ***. A PDI inspection was done on the vehicle. Customer never brought the vehicle in for us to look at. They ******** messaged us and we told them to bring the vehicle in to be looked at and they never did. We cant solve any problems that we no nothing about. We need to see the vehicle to diagnose the problem.

I bought my 2007 *** ******* through Pete’s Auto from the Lisbon location. I have found that the rockers are all spray foam and seems to be hit from the back of car. I tried going to Pete’s auto for the spray foam issue and there was a date set up to meet. When I went to meet, they did not show up and I was told I would get a call. I did not until months later and they said I was complaining about my breaks when I had not and they were trying to avoid the issue. I have provided pictures in my original complaint of the rockers.
