      I purchased a few clothing items on November 10,2023. 2 out of the 4 items I wanted to return since they didn’t fit. I went back the next day on November 11,2023 to return two of the items. They said they didn’t do refunds only store credit. I said I’ll take the store credit they gave me a paper and said I could use it anytime. Today on march 7,2024 I called before I went to this location and asked if I could use my store credit even though I ripped my receipt. The lady I spoke with said yes. I went there and showed her the receipt. I showed her it and she said it wasn’t the store credit paper. I told her that’s all I got from them. She attempted to look it up and said she couldn’t find the original receipt or the store credit. I was confused since I know I shopped there. I paid for my items with cash so there was no way I could show them via my bank statement. A guy comes in and says “if you don’t have the store credit paper we can’t help you” I asked him what can be done since i returned the merchandise. He said nothing. I mentioned I was calling the police since that’s considered theft at this point. I called and they came. The officer heard my story and agreed. They also heard their story as well and created a police report. They insisted that I reach out to the better business bureau since this is a civil issue. I’m upset because I spent a lot of money in that store and they were very rude and not willing to work with me. They mentioned to the officers that they have had the same issue in the past with multiple customers which should be a sign to them that their store policy isn’t effective. Below I’ve attached the receipt and the police report case number .
