  Regarding the mention of multiple business names, we want to clarify that over the years, we have taken over operations for a couple of businesses whose owners have retired.   I filled out their appointment scheduling form on the website, which advertises that once you do that, it's "all set" and they would give you a call to confirm. I did get a call, but to tell me that actually had no techs available for my date so would need to reschedule. A bit of bait and switch but fine.
  I scheduled a date to have my fridge repaired. It was cooling but only to around 40 degrees. I provided the person on the phone all the information they requested and answered all their questions, sent make/model info and pictures. As advertised they did not charge me a service fee upfront.
  The tech arrived and ran some diagnostic codes on my fridge. Within about 5 minutes he informed me it was a problem that his company doesn't repair and doesn't staff qualified techs to repair and I'd have to call someone else. For a fridge not cooling, the only thing it's intended to do, this was surprising. He then charged me $204 for the service call, even though I did not decline the repair, they just didn't have the right people staffed for it. This service fee is also much higher than big brand repair shops. Had they been upfront they're not a full service repair shop I most likely wouldn't have rolled the dice knowing I'd be on the hook even if I didn't decline the repair.
  I called the office and asked to split the service fee, given I realize there are costs to even sending someone out. They declined and offered me $50. They confirmed they don't staff qualified techs for refrigerant leaks. They advertise fridge repairs of all major brands and for cooling issues. There's no mention of not being able to fix a refrigerant leak. Had they asked more questions ahead of time this all could have been avoided.
  I called Sears the next day and they resolved within a few hours. The service fee of $139 was lower than action and applied towards my repair.
  Short story - if your fridge isn't working, go somewhere else.

  Prompt, courteous service March 2024. TJ, the technician, was able to repair my 15-year-old Jenn-Air Stove. Excellent service! I highly recommend Action Appliance Repair.

  Service man came out didn’t do anything just wanted to collect service fee.Do yourself a favor stay away from this company which is a bunch of shizters.

  Do NOT call these people if you have an emergency ... or if you want a job done right the first time. I had to wait 3 days to get someone even to come look at my fridge. The part needed came quickly, but the tech "fixed" my fridge and it wasn't working an hour later. Called the company immediately and was told that the earliest I could get tech to come back was 3 days ... again. This is right before Christmas, so I'm not holding my breath that the repair will be done correctly ... again. The tech was here fewer than 15 minutes each time, and my landlord is being charged $500 for this slipshod work. DO NOT USE this company for your repairs.
