    This company is terrible. I canceled the service because the high price of the propane. They would not refund me the money since the tank has more than half of the propane

    I did a review of CT Propane last March, after my tank rental fee went from $65 to $150 and expressed my outrage at the price gouging. Four months later, they responded. (Must be very busy). In their response, they defend themselves, falling back on the ' tough economy.' I get it. I owned a small business for 15 years. Then, they talk about having to ' pay their employees ' and 'putting gas in their trucks.' All fair arguments, except for a couple things. NONE of their employees has EVER had to come to my house on a service call. NONE of their trucks has EVER had to drive to my house for a service call. The only expense incurred with my account was a 60 cent stamp to send me an invoice, and they don't even do THAT anymore. The invoice is e-mailed now. So, please justify to me again, CT Propane, your increase from $65 to $150, when the ONLY expense you have regarding my account is a 30 second email. I'm waiting...

    They double charged me for tank rental and then double charged me the price they quoted me over the phone for propane. Because I couldn’t remember the girls name that gave me quote they wouldn’t honor it! They made up one higher than the one she quoted! I would never do business with them again! Customers beware! Watch your invoices! Once tank is empty will be switching companies!
