My name is **** ******** ******* and on October 12, 2024 I got married at Chateau Le Gari winery in *********** **. The owner Gari and his wife Caroline were rude, did not provide services and down right nasty to my guests. Below is a list of issues that occured during our wedding....
We had an open bar that we had to beg Gari to purchase beer and liquor that we paid for, gari and I got into two verbal arguments before he agreed to purchase 3 specific liquors.
We also had to ask several times to please provide a bartender during the event, gari did not want to provide the bartending services to our guests, after about an hour and a half and several requests, he finally started serving the guests, he was rude and inappropriate when speaking to my guests
We paid $5 extra dollars per head for a champagne toast and not every guest received champagne, those who did received 1 inch of champagne in their glass. So he took my money but did not provide what we agreed upon
The entrees for 35 guests arrived at the table ice cold. We had steak, chicken and what was supposed to be salmon but the fish was white. When asked to reheat the food, the wife Caroline brought one plate back into the kitchen and returned the plate ice cold.
We were offered butter knives to cut our porter house steaks, when asked for steak knives for the 20 guests who chose the steak, the wife replied "if I can find one", she found one steak knife and the rest of my guests could not eat their meal because there was no way to cut the steak. The steak was also bold red, raw and uneatable. The chicken was pink and under cooked and the salmon wasn't salmon, it was some sort of white fish
Gari and Caroline and myself agreed upon a chartutery board with several items, he provided deli salami, olives grapes and cheese that we had to cut ourselves.
They refused to take the cake into the kitchen and cut it and serve to our guests.
There are several more complaints that will not fit in this box. Contact me
