  If I could give zero stars I would. Hiring Hamza to do our basement project was the biggest mistake we ever made. Now we are stuck with an infinished project. We spend almost a year constantly following up with Hamza on unfulfilled promises to come to work, asking, even begging for him to come and do the work we paid him to do. I have never worked with someone so unreliable. He would say he was coming to work and never show up or call time and time again. Months would go by with this behavior. He would ask for advances for funds and never follow through with his promises. A year later, we finally said screw you - we were so fed up being played and decided to find a way to finish the project on our own. Now we are stuck with an unfinished basement. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor and has caused so much unnecessary stress in our home. Reporting this company to the BBB.

  We contracted with Hamza, the owner of Meriden Makeovers in Apr of 2023 to in stall a slider door with a 50% deposit to schedule the start date of the work, which at that time was May 18th 2023. In the weeks following the projected start date of the work, Hamza, began providing reasons as to delays in the start date of the work. Each time a new start date was provided, the day before or that actual day a new reason for delay was given. This continued for several weeks. I’ve contacted Hamza for a refund of my money to which I’ve had no response. I’m taking this matter to small claims court.

  He did a bad job, on my drain pipe going along side of house in pieces kept falling apart, never gave me money back for it. Put in a shelf above stove is falling out had to go somewhere else.
