    This was a trusted contractor whom has done work for us before. He was supposed to have remodeled two bathrooms for us. The first bathroom we found a lot of sloppy work and it was not completed in a professional manner. The second bathroom, he demolished and we have yet to hear from him. We are going on two months since he has done any work and has not answered my last text sent weeks ago. I have a feeling he was using our money to pay for his own personal legal fees and once there was only a $248 balance left (the contracted total was $23265), he stopped coming to the home and we have not heard from him in weeks. He has not done any work on our bathroom in months. The last time he was here was to pick up tools for another job and that was the last we saw of him which was the end of Oct. We are just looking to get as much of our money back as possible, so we could have a new contractor come in and fix what was either not done in the bathroom he supposedly completed, the shortcuts made, and to inspect for any other issues, and to finish the bathroom that is torn apart. There were also materials that were supposed to have been ourchased, that never were. Unfortunately, the website will only let me upload so much. But, I have a lot of pictures, receipts, and copies of the canceled checks that can be shared upon request. Unfortunately the only "contract" I have is in a text message. Supposedly he was having computer issues and could not print us out a formal contract. But, again this contractor has been doing work for my brother, on two properties, for years, he did work for us this spring, and has done work for my parents, so we thought we could trust him to get the job done in a professional manner and never asked for a formal contract.
