    We believe Finellis restaurant fraudulently charged $1165.00 on our credit card on 9/4/22. We visited this restaurant only one time on 8/14/22 and had used the same account to pay $58 for our drinks and food. We now believe that we had left one of our multiple copies of our credit card at the restaurant on that day. NO other fraudulent charges have been made on this account whatsoever. When we contacted the restaurant owner regarding this fraudulent charge, he confessed he was at the restaurant all day 9/4/22 and supposedly "a group of bikers" used my card, but never signed the receipt. I asked him what they ate and drank to amount to such an enormous tab and he could not account for a single item and said he has no record of the products sold. Because he kept changing his story and could not account for anything sold we contacted the police to report the incident. He then produced a signed credit card receipt contradicting his original statement that the receipt hadn't been signed (just for clarity, not my signature and we have never been back to this establishment since the original date of 8/14/22, we have also been able to confirm one of our copies of this cc is missing). He refused to reverse the charges. We believe full heartedly this was intentional by someone within the restaurant who had obtained my credit card and we are concerned for the public!
