This company was hired to ship my truck. 2 days prior to shipment, the truck started fine and was in good condition. The day I receive the truck (after receiving 3 different times from the delivery driver) I look out the window and see the delivery driver pull up with my truck on a trailer full of ice/sand/snow. I see the driver beating the hood to knock the ice off with the hood open and jump starting it.. By the time I get out there (they parked in neighborhood next to my house) the truck is running and my motor compartment was full of snow.
I notice they broke my positive battery terminal cap and could not inspect the condition of the truck due to it being covered in a layer of salt, ice and snow. There was no snow during the pickup or drop off so I'm not sure where they took my truck, but the trailer was also covered in ice and left 1 foot piles of ice buildup on the neighborhood road. I asked the driver if he was going to clean up his mess (he and the claim lady Laura laughed), and they left the large ice chunks in the middle of the road for me to clean up. I submitted a claim for having the positive battery terminal cap they broke replaced, having the interior of the motor compartment cleaned, and the radiator fans checked to ensure proper operation (due to the driver starting the vehicle with the front end full of snow ice). The claim was denied on it being an "act of god". During this whole process, I was never once asked if I wanted my truck jump started. Additionally, there was no way to properly inspect the truck upon delivery due to the condition they delivered it in. This company has poor communication and lied to me multiple times about the delivery time. They should be held liable for replacing the battery cap they damaged and the front end they sandblasted. It is worth noting, that I let my truck sit for a week shortly after delivery and it started fine.
