      I keep sending payments and they aren’t cashing my payments for months. I have called ###-###-#### to talk to someone. This number is also to pay by phone but only a message is giving to call back the next day. I have left messages and no one seems to call back. I have documented time/date of every time I call leaving a message about this issue. No one has responded back. Now I am receiving letters demanding full payment and being threatened of being reported to credit agencies when they haven’t been cashing in my payments. I believe this company refused to cash my payments to gain interest to make money.

      I applied for a parent plus loan - I DID NOT apply for a student loan directly through the school that is showing on my credit report. WE were not contacted for any such loan, sent any terms or payment statements. This was not authorized as such. School DID NOT contact us regarding any difference in original agreement. This has been reported to the credit bureaus and negatively affecting my credit.

      I was enrolled in Lincoln tech and took a partial student loan with them. I was unable to finish the program with not even 1 module in. That wasn’t the problem, the amount of money they’re saying I owe isn’t correct. I also paid a sum of cash to the school before beginning. I noticed on my credit report there was this loan. When I tried contacting them they told me it was given to ****. They had written me a letter offering 50-60% off the loan if I paid them. When I contacted them I was informed they didn’t have my loan anymore and it was sent back to Lincoln tech. After to speaking to multiple people who had no idea what was going on I was given multiple sums of money owed. One told me $1982.00 the other women tried saying it was $2640.30, then offered to let me pay it for $2400.00. I declined and asked why someone else told me it was $1982.00 and you’re telling me almost $700 more. Then she proceeded to tell me well what is the most you could pay to see if we can meet there. I at this point asked to speak to a supervisor who wasn’t conveniently in the office. This is destroying my credit and everyone’s giving me different responses. I’m feeling like I’m being scammed completely. I would like for someone to look into this I work very hard for my money and am a single mom. I feel like I’m being taken advantage of, there’s no way a “student loan” can change to so many amounts. With not one person able to get me a straight answer. I need this resolved so this doesn’t happen to others and to get this off my credit report. I am very disappointed in how Lincoln tech has handled this in its entirety. Not a single person there can give me the same answer, it really feels like some money scheme.
