      On 2/25/2024 I went to the STANLEY ST CAR WASH LLP*** ******* **** to use the self service port. There's a sign that specifically indicate that you are to be charged a minimum of $4. I swiped my car and saw the machine counting down the money used. I used up to $4 dollars and left, today I see a transaction in my back account for $15. I'd be glad to take a picture of all the signs display at this location if needed. I don't agree with how this business is charging more than what it indicates and I want a refund. The signs are posted in each self service car ports which is the reason for my complaint. They are purposely overcharging on a debit or credit card if used.

      Customer has been given refund. Any complaints  are quickly taken care of. Signage in each bay clearly indicates how to use a credit card. Minimum charge is $5.00 . The $4.00 dollar charge refers to coin usage.

      Better Business Bureau:



      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The only issue I have is that although each bay says a min of $5 and I was there for the minimum time, then why the charge of $15?? I wasn't there for more than 2 mins to wash my car. Maybe consider only charging $5 instead of generally charging $15. Its not the first time it has happened to me which is why I made the complaint Tom.

      06/01/23 - I put my bank card in the machine and it took out the money but did not come on to wash my car $10.

      The actual charge is $5.00. I checked our credit card charges to verify. Since there is no problem with equipment I believe it was customer error.If ***** would like to reach out I would gladly go over the proper use of equipment. I will send refund of $5.00 to address on complaint.
