      We signed a contract in January for insulation to be installed in February. I paid a 50% down payment. First day it was meant to be done he no call no showed after which he told me he had a family emergency, the death of his father. I later found out this was a lie as he said the same thing to someone else 2 years ago. On the rescheduled day a few weeks later he texted me in the morning around 8:30 “the guys are on their way and I’ll be there later probably around noon” no one came all day and no texts, calls, or emails were answered until I threatened to involve the police. He sent a screen shot of a refund for the 50% deposit which never actually went through. We set up a time to meet for him to give me a bank check for refund and he said he would come and once again did not. Not answering calls texts or emails.

      This business and I signed a contract for my home insulation project in early June 2024. At the time of signing, I paid the business a 50% deposit as required by the contract. To date, the business has failed to complete my project. Instead, the past four months have consisted of delays, excuses, reschedules, and no-shows. Now, the business won't respond to or answer my calls and text messages, so I've been "ghosted." It is offensive and unconscionable that this business thinks it can keep my money for work it promised but has failed to complete, all while ignoring and dodging my calls and text messages.
